With five years experience in the furniture business, Jim Sharples Furniture creates individual bespoke pieces of beautifully crafted furniture which are designed and hand made to order. Jim uses local and sustainable timber and his unique service combines your ideas with wood from local woodlands. Set-up in 2004, the workshop is based in Bristol.
Jim Sharples Furniture has a small customer base, based in and around the South West. Jim Sharples is able to offer unique pieces of furniture, featuring traditional wood working techniques. Built from scratch, the products are created from timber sourced from within 50 miles of Bristol from well managed sustainable woodlands. These pieces of furniture will last for generations.

4.7 out of 5 | We were looking for an individual, bespoke piece of furniture and were impressed by items of Jim's work displayed on a website. We contacted Jim and discussed our requirements with him and, satisfied that he could meet our requirements, we asked him to build the piece of furniture. Throughout the construction process, Jim kept us fully updated on progress. On completion, Jim personally delivered the furniture and undertook the final construction on site. Inspecting Jim's work at this stage it was obvious it was all we had hoped; it is a beautiful piece of furniture and Jim's standard of work is exceptionally high; the wood selection was especially well considered. Considering the difficulties of purchasing any hand crafted work via photographs on a web-page and by telephone and e-mail correspondence, Jim did us proud.
