Jennifer Patchett Childminding Service - Child Care

Jennifer Patchett is an Ofsted and National Childminding Association (NCMA) registered Childminder, based in Acomb, York. She has been graded "outstanding" by Ofsted in her latest inspection.

Jennifer offers quality childcare for children between the ages of 4 weeks and 8 years, and is available before school, after school, during the day, weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.

There is plenty to do, including art and craft activities, music, singing, dancing, outdoor play, going for walks, going to the park, and meeting up with other children at the local Toddler Groups.

There is a play room / sleep room, a messy room for meal times and creative times and a secure enclosed rear garden for outdoor play. There are also lots of toys to play with for all ages.

Jennifer has a child herself, in addition to experience through working in various day nurseries over the years. She and her premises have been inspected by Ofsted to meet the National Standards given to childcare providers in England. She has completed a childminder's training course and is currently working towards other qualifications in Home-Based Childcare. She is first aid trained. She is working towards two Quality Assurance schemes, Steps to Quality and NCMA Children Come First. She will be providing government funded sessions of 15 hours per week to 3 and 4 year olds from September 2007.
