After ringing the number and leaving a message I was promptly contacted by Emmanuel on the Laptop Repairs team.
He turned up to collect the computer within an hour, rang me about half an hour later with a quote and came back with the repaired laptop just 2 hours after I'd handed it over.
In addition to repairing the part, the fan has been cleaned and it runs as quietly as the day I bought it. I received helpful tips on computer care without any technobabble.

Value for money:
Before using PC Techs, I had been quoted exceptionally higher prices for even fewer services. And therefore, considering the amount other companies charge for computer repairs, the value for money element was nothing short of the best.
Service:
The PC Technician (Collin) not only fixed the problem, but he answered all my concerns and queries. In addition, he also gave me further advice on how to prevent the same problem from occurring again.
Quality:
There is not much I can add here other than the fact that the level and quality of the service provided by Collin was high (i.e. better than other well known company technicians).
Conclusion:
I would like to thank PC Techs and Collin for the services I was provided with. There is no doubt in mind that if any problem ever occurs with my computer again (though I hope not), PC Techs is the company I will go to.
I truly believe that if PC Techs maintain their Value for Money, Service, and Quality they will grow and expand into a well known reputable company.
