Ideal Driver and Rider Training has a dedicated team of highly skilled enthusiastic training providers that includes 4 fully qualified DSA Certified Direct Access Instructors. Many with qualifications over and above the minimum requirement including Register of Post-Test Trainers qualification for advanced training. The company offers training for all motorcycle riders from novice to advanced. Also offered are training courses for car drivers that are either novice or part trained, advanced or returning to driving after a break and are looking for the right instructor for their own special needs. Instructor training is also available. The range of motorcycle training courses includes CBT, Direct Access, Restricted Access and Enhanced Rider Scheme. 5.0 out of 5 | although I was riding for years in the middle east, Pete and the team tought me that you can always lern somthing new. their experience knowledge and profetionalizem is second to non!!!!!!!!! my son followed my footsteps and now we are riding accross australia.I suspect he was the first 16 years old to ride a racing Aprilia 125 over the great ocean road.what a view. 5.0 out of 5 | Having done now completed my CBT for a motorcycle. IDEAL had given me the confidence and correct training needed for riding and performing any manoeuvre on a motorcycle and scooter.
The staff are Hilarious and very serious at the same time. The teaching environment is very relaxed but straight to the point. Without these guys i would have never got my motorbike licence. I highly reccomend them to anyone looking to get their motorbike licence. 5 Stars all the way.

All the trainers and staff are very helpful and professional. The style of training provided wasn't just geared towards passing the test, but also ensuring that once you've got that important piece of paper in your hand you've formed safe habits for when you're let loose on your own. The feedback from the staff was always helpful and the atmosphere made the training enjoyable, relaxed and above all fun - which is surely why most people want to learn to ride a bike in the first place! 4.7 out of 5 | ideal driver was such a pleasure to deal with, the instructors had great personalities and had a lot of patience this made doing my cbt a lot more fun, the bikes were clean and of a good quality giving me more confidence when out on the roads, they are always very informative keeping you up to date with what is going on, also the class room work was very helpful we had videos and class room discussions, after the classroom section we then piled into the mini buss and went to a playground where the novices learnt to ride, within 15mins everyone who had never ridden a bike before was riding, showing that they explain things very well and are good teachers. i shall defiantly be coming back to Ideal Driver to complete my full bike test, MANY THANKS! 4.3 out of 5 | Although the cost was higher than others offered, the tuition, advice, service and communication were very good and represented very good value for money. There was a high level of attention to detail and all aspects were thoroughly explained throughout the training. The training was delivered at a pace that suited the student and created confidence. Any criticism was always delivered in a constructive manner. The staff were friendly and patient and all 'stupid' questions were answered without so much as a smirk!
