Set-up in 1983 the centre has over 25 years experience in the Mental Health sector. Apart from a drop-in the Centre offers many other forms of help and guidance that empowers service users to live alongside the day to day realities of enduring Mental Health issues. The Centre offers structured groups that can help to assist those who attend to re-develop self confidence and self worth.
With state of the art facilities and fully qualified staff, the organisation provides a professional Mental Health service to individuals. The service is designed to be rewarding and fun, enabling clients to regain self confidence. Groups that run at The Centre include, self development workshops, art therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, womens afternoon, Men's Group, Asian Service Users Group, Digital Camera Group, The Compass Information Centre and a daily Drop-in service.
The Centre has a large client base, located in and around Hounslow, including many diverse cultures and religions. Issues catered for include anxiety disorders, depression, bi-polar disorder, schizophrenia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Low Self Confidence, Esteem issues, Social Phobia, Trauma, etc.
