All Home Furniture Lands oak furniture is made from solid oak with out the use of veneers at all. Each piece is hand made by time served craftsmen using traditional techniques, all draws have dove tail joints and draw backs and bases are solid oak.
We ordered our bathroom storage unit on wed evening and it was sitting in our bathroom fri afternoon. The sevice and delivery we recieved was excellent the staff are friendly and professional while the product was superb quality Thank You.

I ordered a hidden home office which was delivered on time but unfortunately turned out to be unsuitable for my particular requirements. Home Furniture Land were extremely helpful and very quickly collected the furniture and processed my refund. Very good service, friendly and helpful staff.
When we came across Home Furniture Land on the internet we were impressed by the photographs showing a vanity unit. However, we wanted a slightly different design. The customer service was exemplary. Emails were answered promptly followed up by resultant action. Julie and Andy were a delight to deal with and the changes we requested were implemented without any problems. Needless to say, the furniture is of a very high standard. The carpenter who came to finish off work in the shower room was very impressed. For delivery we decided on the 2 man service since the furniture had to be taken upstairs. They handled the furniture without any problems and placed it where we wanted. It was certainly worth paying for this service. Overall, a most satisfactory experience.
There was a delay in delivery (which was actually not a problem for me), communication about this was excellent. The unit arrived very well packed and is extremely well made and will suit my old cottage perfectly.
We have purchased several items from home furniture land - coffee table, lamp tables, and a bookcase. All arrived safely packed and are well made pieces of furniture which look great in our modern house. I found the service equally good because all queries were answered politely and immediately. I have just purchased some solid oak corner bathroom vanity units for my new bathroom. The build quality is exceptional they are clearly solid hardwood with good handle options. I will be back to purchases some other units soon.

Ordered a Delamere book case from this company, things must have changed drastically since the last review as I have had nothing but problems. Ordering was easy, payment was taken and had initial contact advising that delivery would take place in a couple of days, this is when the problems started. I was then contacted advising that delivery had been cancelled, on the morning of the delivery. A second date was then arranged and no one turned up. After many phone calls, due to the inconvience caused, they agreed to provide a 2 man delivery free of charge. Then on the day of delivery, 1 man turned up!! When we opened the box, the item was damaged and on calling the company, I was told that they had opened all the other ones they had in stock and they had the same damage as mine. They then offered to reduce the price of the damaged item, which I refused and asked for a full refund and collection of the damaged goods. I was advised by a sales guy called Andy, the only decent person at the company, that this would be arranged. Andy contacted me to advise of a date of collection which I could not do and provided various dates this could happen. However, wanting to get my money back ASAP, I then agreed to the collection date. To my surprise I then had Simon Dhatt, who announced himself as the owner/MD, call me and basically shouted at me and told me that he would deal with me by mail only and told me to contact my credit card company as he would nor provide a refund. He then put the phone down. I have e mailed this company on 30 occasions and called them at lesat the same number of times. Although the furniture appears to be well made, apart from the damage, the customer service is enough to put anyone off buying from these sharks. There are other on line furniture retailers that provide similar style items, I would urge people to buy from them instead of this company.
Company response : In response to Mr McFadyens comments we would like to confirm that our company prides itself on supplying quality home furniture backed up with an excellent customer service. We sell 1000’s of products every year and have encountered very few, if any problems as previous reviews show. However, as with any item bought from a shop or via the internet there is room for human error and occasionally items are “damaged “ to a varying degree (please see review update to view image and decide for yourself) or deliveries are not made at a specified time due to uncontrollable circumstances. This customer was offered a two man delivery for the very next day, a Saturday at our cost but refused. It is merely a case of “putting things into perspective” and some times it is difficult to satisfy certain customers. However, our company is still working towards resolving this matter despite the said customer harassing staff with phone calls and emails aswell as writing a review which to say the least “distorts” the truth and is extremely offensive.

The quality & craftsmanship is very high. I am over the moon with my purchase. The pieces have transformed my lounge into a classy & elegant room. I would use this company again.
