Hill Cottage is a charming 17th century heavily beamed property, tucked away in a peaceful wooded spot on the edge of town, next to the Wheatsheaf pub, close to the town's main business parks and Crowborough main line station, yet just a stone's throw from open countryside.

Its position makes it a perfect place to relax and unwind whether visiting on business or for pleasure. Hill Cottage is close to the Ashdown Forest, several National Trust properties, and top sporting venues for golf, cricket and racing, yet just an hour by train from London or a half hour drive to the coast.

There are three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, each has been recently decorated and furnished to a high standard in keeping with the style of the cottage, and the bath and shower rooms are modern with a hint of period style.

Typically, a full English breakfast is available from 7. 00am weekdays (7. 30 at weekends), but every effort is made to cater for other dietary requirements. If needed, hair dryers, irons and trouser presses are available. Lunches are served at the Wheatsheaf pub next door (daily except Sunday), and evening meals are served there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Hill Cottage is owned and run by Maggie and Ted Hirst. They have been involved in the hospitality trade for a number of years, having run several successful pubs (including the Wheatsheaf) and bed and breakfast businesses.

Both Maggie and Ted look forward to meeting new visitors to Hill Cottage, and are pleased and particularly proud to welcome former guests on return visits.
