GTech Surveys - General Engineering CompanyFounded in 2006, GTech Surveys is an evolving business, offering television reception surveys and interference investigations to broadcasters, wind farm developers, construction companies, planners and architects throughout the UK.
GTech Surveys has a satisfied number of clients located throughout the whole of the UK. These include Barratt Homes, IKEA, The Beetham Organisation, University of Manchester, Savills and many more. GTech Surveys undertakes radio and television reception surveys (TV signal surveys), conducts reception investigations and contributes to planning support. In addition GTech Surveys can verify transmitter coverage performance and is actively involved with the UK's Digital Switchover project.
Gtech Surveys provides pre and post-construction television and radio reception surveys, desktop studies and interference investigations.
The fully insured products are produced by professional broadcast trained engineers. Consequently, GTech Surveys has secured repeated work with major construction and planning companies and with UK broadcast infrastructure owners.
GTech Surveys founder, Gareth Phillips BEng (Hons) MIET, graduated from Liverpool University and joined a graduate training scheme at National Grid Wireless (formally Crown Castle / BBC Transmission). For 6 years, he was a member of the Radio Planning Division at National Grid Wireless, and was involved in many broadcast and television reception survey projects. He has had extensive broadcast training with the BBC, Crown Castle International, Crown Castle UK Ltd, National Grid Wireless and Cable and Wireless.
