Established recently the restaurant has had a good few years experience in the gastronomy business. Grainger Rooms is housed in Higham Place; Sir Richard Grainger’s first commissioned build in Newcastle situated behind the famous laing art gallery next to monument.
With friendly and easy going staff, the restaurant is able to offer a cosy homely environment to enjoy some wonderful english dishes.
The chef sources top quality local produce. The Grainger Rooms menus feature rare-breed Northumbrian meat directly from local farms, North Sea fish from sustainable groups, hand-picked wild mushrooms and wild foods in season.
