Formed in 2010, Grace sells designer wedding dresses, that are sophisticated and elegant. As well as helping each bride choose her dream wedding dress Grace sells wedding shoes and accessories to brides throughout the region. The boutique is located in Westcott, Dorking in Surrey.

The company sources reliable designer wedding dresses that are made from luxirious fabrics and are exquisite in design making them perfect for each bride's special day. Each designer dress is available to be seen and tried on in the boutique.

With a very spacious boutique and experienced staff, Grace provides a professional non-pressurised service to brides. This service is personal and enables customers to feel at ease during their most significant purchase for their special wedding day.

I have visited Grace twice and just recently ordered me wedding dress from there.

The service I have received has been outstanding with Barbara opening up the shop especially for us so that I could try on dresses over the Christmas holiday.

The atmosphere in Grace is very relaxed and you feel like you have all of the time in the world to try out dresses and different combinations of accessories without anyone rushing you to make a decision.

Also the sample dresses are in excellent condition and there is a wide and beatuiful selection of dresses to try on.

I was fortunate enough to meet the designer of my dress so that she could explain the dress fully to me and decide whether we could go down the standard size route. If anyone else has the opportunity to do this I would recommend it as it was definitely a bonus.

I feel like a weight is off of my mind having ordered my dress through Grace and know that my dress and I are in very capable hands.

Shopping at Grace was just the most wonderful experience, having driven past it so many times in the last couple of years it was the first dress shop on the list and it didn’t disappoint. The shop itself is beautiful and service is like no other, you get Barbara’s undivided attention for the full session and as there is only ever one booking at a time you feel truly special. Barbara’s seamstress knowledge came in use when trying create the image I had in mind and I ended up with a practically bespoke dress.

I loved the way Barbara explained the detail on each dress and gave me an insight into the designers, many of which are British. She is a true professional and clearly has a passion for her chosen vocation, I cannot wait to see my dress for the first time in April!

Barbara Janaway was a brilliant help when I was choosing my wedding dress. I visted several shops over my two days of looking, but came straight back to Grace to place my order. The dresses are all high quality and by English designers! Barbara has kept in touch with my order and has let me know of up and coming events to help with my special day. I would reccommend this shop to all brides.

Shopping at Grace for your wedding dress and accessories is a lovely experience. The shop itself is beautifully presented, with lovely decor and a very spacious fitting room, creating a wonderful ambience from the second you walk in. Barbara is also kind, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I found it very hard to choose between all the gorgeous dresses and i tried on a lot, but at no point did i feel pressured or hurried. Barbara will help you put together a complete look (not just try the dress as you do in some places) and she helped me create a look I didn't even realise I wanted (I was certain I didn't want a veil and I was totally converted after trying them on!). It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend going there and buying your dress.

I decided to visit Grace along with several other wedding dress shops local to my home in Surrey in the search for my perfect dress.

From the moment I walked in through the door I was just so impressed with the selection of wedding dresses, the service received and the whole ambience of the shop.

I was looking for a specific type of dress and it was due to Barbara's suggestions which actually enabled me to put together my dream dress. Something I couldn't have done without her input and I would still be looking today if it had not been for her valuable advice and expertise.

As far as I am concerned Grace has it all and I would recommend that any bride to be visits Grace to buy their dress!

I was so pleased to find Grace on Google. My first impressions of their website made me feel that their designers were what I was looking for. I also loved their corporate video on their Blog page! I think I have found my Sassi Holford gown and am looking forward to meeting the designer on their Sassi Desigern Day!

I recently purchased my Paloma Blanca wedding gown from Grace of Westcott and I cannot recommend this bridal shop more highly. The shop itself is well laid out, with a wonderful large fitting room and plenty of mirrors. I had been to two bridal shops before I came to Grace and after my experience here, I did not want to go to any others! Grace stocks a beautiful selection of wedding gowns and I tried on many of them before finally deciding on my Paloma Blanca dress. As a bride to be, you hear a lot of talk about finding "the one" dress - at Grace I felt lucky enough to find "the three"! After much deliberating, and coming back for a second visit, I was able to make up my mind. Barbara, the owner, was so helpful and not at all pushy and I didn't feel rushed to make a decision. I felt that she quickly understood the type of dress I wanted and was able to suggest which gowns would suit, as well as suggesting other styles I might not have considered. She is also very good at suggesting ways in which the dresses can be adapted or bespoked if there is something about a particular dress you would like changed. I am so glad that I found Grace and cannot wait for my dress to arrive. The selection of veils and shoes are also beautiful and, again, Barbara was fantastic at helping me choose these accessories too. I would not hesitate in recommending Grace of Westcott to other brides-to-be.

Walking in and meeting Barbara at Grace of Westcott was like a breath of fresh air from all of the other bridal boutiques I had visited.

The boutique is beautifully decorated, with a spacious, light and airy feel. The dresses are exceptionally displayed so you can look at each of them without feeling like you're having to rummage through an over packed rail.

Barbara has a wonderful selection of beautiful dresses to try - and they're all in pristine condition, no grubby marks or damaged material as I'd found in some other stores.

Being in Graces, you get the feeling, as you twirl around in front of the enormous ornate mirror in the shop, that it's Barbara's absolute pleasure for you to be enjoying her boutique and her sumptuous dresses. There is no feeling of being rushed or pressured into buying a dress if you're not ready to make the commitment to one.

I felt so lucky to have found my dream dress at Graces as I really wanted to be able to keep enjoying the experience you get when you meet Barbara.

Almost a year has gone by since my daughter Josephine and I entered Grace the Wedding Shop in Wescott Surrey for the first time. Barbara Janaway had opened her bridal boutique only the day before on Saturday 25th September 2010 and since this was our first foray into the world of wedding dresses we had no idea what to expect. Afterwards Josephine and I agreed that within a matter of minutes we both knew that we had come to the right place. Barbara, and her mother who was helping her that day, put us at our ease straight away, and as on every subsequent visit she was wonderfully reassuring and patient, while at the same time knowledgeable, poised and infinitely professional. She had created the perfect backdrop for her range of beautiful designer dresses. Every small detail in the decoration of her shop reflected impeccable taste and flair, and instantly inspired confidence. In this light and airy, and at the same time intimate space, each dress was shown off to perfection, and Josephine fell in love with a stunning Paloma Blanca creation which was only the fourth wedding dress that she had tried on.

However before making a definite decision we felt we must look elsewhere in order to be
absolutely sure. Our research was interesting and eye-opening, taking us from a top end London establishment to mid and low end high street shops. Perhaps we were just unlucky, but more often than not, and regardless of prices, we were confronted by tightly packed rows of seemingly identical dresses, crammed into soulless spaces, and with very little personal service.

So,wondering why we hadn’t followed our hearts from the first moment, we immediately ordered Josephine’s gorgeous Paloma Blanca dress from Grace, as well as an amazing hair piece, and never looked back. Nothing was too much trouble for Barbara in the run up to Josephine's wedding in April 2011. Fittings were such happy occasions and she sewed little ‘something old, something blue’ ribbons and bows into the hem of the dress, and last minute invisible loops and poppers, with incredible skill and speed. During the six months leading up to the wedding Barbara helped us in so many ways. She has built up a great network of wedding professionals; a brilliant photographer, hair stylist Leanne Spikesman who did amazing things with Josephine and her bridesmaids, make-up artist, florist, caterer, cake maker and lots more, and she has a wealth of knowledge about local wedding venues. Grace’s range of wedding shoes is lovely, and both Josephine and I wore amazingly stylish and comfortable Pink footwear, in my case dyed to exactly match my wedding outfit.

When we first met her, Barbara told us that her wish was to do everything possible to make the experience of being a bride the beautiful thing that every girl dreams of. In our case she succeeded completely. For us Grace was a haven of calm and reassurance at such a busy and inevitably stressful time, and was far more than just a place where we bought the most beautiful wedding dress in the world.

A year on and the choice of beautiful designer dresses is greater, the shoes are even more glamorous, and last night at a lovely celebratory party we were reminded of just how special a place this shop is. We wish Barbara every success in the future and hope that all the brides who read this are inspired to look on the wonderful Grace of Westcott website and make an appointment right away.

My daughter and I were greeted by a warm smile and a creative ambiance experience whilst entering the boutique. We were both very excited to purchase that special dress. Attention to detail, wants, likes and needs were taken into consideration and the service given by Barbara was outstanding. I (mother of the bride)cried into a soft tissue supplied by Barbara to the sound of Church music being played in the background whilst I looked on to see my special baby girl being transformed into the most gorgeous and elegant bride to be.
