Glaswegian Health shop is a family run business with over 20 years experience in the Health and Fitness Industry. The aim of the company is to understand our customer needs and provide professional advice from our extensive understanding of our products, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We stock a wide variety of specialist health supplements, sport nutrition products, aromatherapy essential oils, weight management products, Homeopathic remedies and much more. All our health products have excellent clear labels with full instructions on how to use the product. If for any reason the product is damaged or faulty in anyway, we will replace of give a full refund.
Glaswegian Health Shop was opened in 2000 by mother and daughter team (Betty and Tracey) after many years in the Health Sector. Tracey became a Fitness Instructor in 1989 at the age of 18 became fully qualified and got promoted to head Fitness Instructor at The body Club, Mitchell Street in Glasgow. Tracey then went on to be a Territory Manager for The Health and Diet Company Limited where she worked for 9 years travelling all over Scotland and the North of England. Since then She has become a qualified Food Intolerance Tester, Sports Nutritionist and Nutritional Advisor. Betty worked in many different jobs over the years until she got involved with Victim Support where she worked as a counselling support worker for many years. Betty enjoyed caring for people so much that she then became a carer for many years. Betty started getting interested in the Health Industry and then decided to work in a Health shop for a couple of years. We both enjoyed it so much we decided it would be great to work together helping and caring for people in our own Health Shop, so thats what we did.
Just to say I have used the Glaswegian Health shop on numerous occasions. The staff Betty and Tracey are helpful and friendly. They offer their advise without any hard sale tactics. So if you are looking for advice on using alternative herbal medicine this is the place to go.
I visited Tracey at her shop after my partners Doctor was less than helpful and so I thought I would try an alternative.
I am so glad I did, not only was Tracey Knowledgeable and exremeley helpful, she was also very welcoming and responsive to all of my questions. My partner suffered from extreme joint pain in his shoulder and Tracey advised to try 'Devils Claw' and 'Glucosamine Hydrochloride' which is continuing to help him now. He has since been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis and it turns out these products are ideal for this condition.
As well as the information and help Tracey has already given us, since retuurning to her store she has now recommended an Osteopath to further aid in the relief of symptons. I cannot thank her enough and I cannot recommend this store highly enough.

Had a food intolerance test last week and I am seeing improvements already.

A great range of products offered at very reasonable prices! Both Tracey and Betty are very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. A wee gem of a health products store.

The Market is a great place to shop, and the 'Glaswegian Health Shop' offers a good product range with honest and reliable advice. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I have been visiting glaswegian health store for the past 5 years for herbal asthma products.I was on inhalers etc from doc which i no longer use as find these products work really well for me and i find the staff very helpful and pleasant to deal with .Mrs F.SHEPHERD

Firstly, I would just point out I have never before typed up a review on line, but I felt compelled to let everyone know how impressed I am by all the help and assistance I received at the Glasgwegian Health Shop. Nothing was a bother, they took the time to listen and take onboard what I was saying. I found this very refreshing as I had been to other health shops, where I felt I was fobbed of with whatever the deal of the week was. Now I am so happy to have found a family business, where the customer is given 100% attention and the improvement in my overall health and well being is incredible so I need to let everyone know I am sending a big thank you to Betty and Tracey and I can assure you I will be a regular customer from here on . Wow! Have you seen the range of products that the Glaswegian Health Shop have in stock, they have sought out, and pulled the best products, from each different manufacturer, Tracey and Betty certainly have the knowledge, and experience, of the health products, that they sell, and are so willing to pass on any helpful advice that you need. And if you don’t see the product that you are looking for on the shelf, ask! They are only too willing, to get it for you.
