GigaTux primarily provides Virtual Private Server (VPS) products and has high powered servers situated in a secure location in Maidenhead, just outside London. This provides very impressive connectivity, with a low latency, high bandwidth connection. The main website is hosted on a GigaTux server using a Virtual Private Server product.
GigaTux believes in offering an honestly priced service, with no compromises on important aspects that matter to the client: reliable storage, quality bandwidth and excellent customer service.
GigaTux is an agile company and is able to offer decent packages to meet the client's needs, fully customisable by the company. All support is based in the UK with the main offices in Milton Keynes and London.

The company is managed by Marc Warne who has been involved with Linux in various capacities for many years, and the IT industry in general for 15 years.

So far haven't experienced any downtime issues.

Ofcourse their VPS offering is both value-for-money and reliable. Web apps that I have built on their VPS have managed to take a surprising amount of load before falling over.

The service has been great from the start and I haven't run into any issues - it's been plain sailing since the setup email describing how I can set up my VPS, with constant uptime as well.
They're a hassle free VPS provider (at least for me), and so I'd recommend them to anyone.

Customer support replied exceptionally quickly to the few enquiries I did make. The VPS itself ran fine, and I had no issues with it. Was impressed by the large number of automated install distros they had available.

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - I had to cancel my hosting with Gigatux, but it was nothing to do with their service. Their service has been excellent, and support tickets have been answered in a matter of minutes even on weekends. Their panel that lets you manage the VPS is also excellent and their support team will help you with anything if you go wrong. If you are looking for a good, reliable, always up VPS then I would pick these guys. Great service. Well done!
