I had been having regular lessons with Catherine to keep my french going for several years. Lessons were fun, and the members of the class have all become friends - we even made an exchange trip to France together last year. When a job opportunity came up in the UNICEF West Africa Regional office, based in Dakar, Senegal, I could not resist. Although I was far from fluent, Catherine gave me extra coaching and really increased my confidence in french in a very short time. Lessons were tailor made for my weaknesses and specific to my field of work and the region. I have been here a year now, still not exactly fluent, but passed Dalf C2 level, and regularly travelling in francophone countries. The help I got from French Communication really gave me a head start. Many thanks for all your support Catherine!

I would highly recommend French Communication - Catherine Pinchetti - to anyone who wishes to learn to speak French.

I have enjoyed learning French with Catherine for the past 5 years within a small group setting. I very much look forward to the weekly classes, which are always challenging, lively and informative. In addition to being a superb teacher, Catherine has an in-depth knowledge of French history and culture which she uses to great effect to assist in teaching language skills. Her enthusiasm for her subject shines through in her teaching.

Classes are always thoughtfully planned. They cover a wide range of topics and are led by the specific needs of the individual students. They are also great fun.

Having "fluffed" French at school I came to realise that if you really want to learn a language you need the help of a native speaker. Catherine has provided excellent support which has enabled me to feel confident about speaking French and has enabled me to get far more pleasure from my trips to France.

Catherine Pinchetti is an exceptionally accomplished communicator and teacher.

Her French lessons are truly enriching and enjoyable. They are carefully planned to give her students a good grounding in French, language and culture.

She covers a lot of ground. Lessons on any day can be a combination of French grammar, comprehension, history, music, film, literature and even cuisine.

With Catherine's help and encouragement, I feel more confident with both my spoken and written French.

French Communication (Catherine Pinchetti) worked with me on a one-to-one basis for 3 or 4 years to improve my written and spoken French, and to give me a real insight into the French people and their culture.

I worked with Catherine successfully through French Institute (DELF) exams. I have to say I enjoyed every minute of every session.

The study material was always fresh and challenging and we constantly reviewed my objectives to check that I kept focused and moved forward.

I would recommend Catherine to anyone who wants to learn the French language. The price was good, and there was never a dull moment!

I have used Catherine Pinchetti and French Communication for French tuition since about 2003. I go to Catherine maintain my French from time to time, and she always helps me to regain my confidence in my French, and to address specific problems that I am may be having with French usage or grammar. Catherine is French, and has an excellent knowledge of French current affairs. I really enjoy working with her and would recommend her to other French students at whatever level.

Catherine is an excellent french teacher. Her lessons are great fun and informative, and cover a wide range of topics in each class - grammatical structure, french sayings, customs and exploring the different regions of France. Catherine's humour and enthusiasm for her subject mean that all her students feel valued whether they are beginners or fluent french speakers.

Our lessons are based on oral and written communication in French with the emphasis on oral communication. The classes are small (maximum about six people) giving a lot of opportunity to speak French. The lessons are very strongly based on the interests and needs of the class. They are well organised and always interesting and fun. I love attending the classes.
