With many years experience in the food safety and infection control sectors, Food Safety Direct Ltd supplies all types equipment, clothing and training materials through its Food Safety Direct website. A full range of thermometers for business and home use can be purchased throughout the UK are available via their Thermometer Superstore website and specialist hand hygiene training materials are sold through its Hand Hygiene Europe website. Established in 2005, the business is located in Carnforth, Lancashire.
Food Safety Direct Ltd supplies customers throughout the UK, including over 250 NHS Trusts, local authorities, major food manufacturers as well as thousands of catering businesses and home users.
The company supplies a range of quality equipment and clothing that are used by caterers, food manufacturers, heating engineers and home users.
Food Safety equipment and clothing include hygiene coats, food hygiene training books and DVDs, disposable protective clothing, food bags, sanitiser wipes and sterile sampling equipment. A full range of thermometers are sourced only from reputable suppliers and the product range includes room thermometers, catering thermometers, wall thermometers, infrared thermometers and bath thermometers.
Food Safety Direct are the official European importers of the brand-leader GlitterBug hand hygiene training range.

The company is run by Dave and Jeff Watson. Dave worked within local authority food safety enforcement for over 20 years. As Wyre Borough Council's Food Safety Manager he steered the Team to national accolades including a Foodlink Award which recognises excellence, creativity and innovation in Food Safety Communication. His Team won the National Public Networks's Top Team of the Year and he was also responsible for devising and developing the Food Standards Agency's Mission Possible project, the hugely successful national scheme to help children understand the importance of food safety.
