Fine Art Portraits by David Hughes - ArtistFine artist David Hughes-Narborough is based in London and has over twenty five years experience in art. He has painted and drawn portraits for clients all over the world, primarily from photographs.
Portraits can be in colour pencil, graphite or oil painting on a boxed canvas. Commissions are completely flexible, but are usually a very special gift for a loved one, or of a beloved family pet. It is important when considering a portrait, that the photograph is clear and in focus, and close up in scale. The more detail in the photograph, the more detail will be seen in the finished portrait.
The artist has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in commercial art, although he is principally self taught, developing his abilities from numerous commissions as a portrait artist since childhood.
