Fibretechs believe that the customers' needs are of the utmost importance and are committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of the business stems from customer referrals.

Services at Fibretechs include:
- Fibreglass Roofs.
- Fibreglass Roof repair
- Emergency covering for leaking defective flat roofs
- UPVC guttering and downpipes
- Fascia Boards
- Free no obligation quotes
- Insurance quotations.

The Fibreglass roof coverings come with a 25 year guarantee. Fibreglass coverings are far more resilient than the traditional felt flat roofs and provide a maintenance free covering with over twice the life expectancy to that of felt. Fibreglass roofs will not be affected by frost or solar degradation, unlike felt. As such, this product provides a peace of mind that the new Fibreglass roof will not leak in seven to eight years time, which is the average life expectancy of felt. The range can be finished in many different colours, with a slate or a non slip surface.

Fibretech’s aim is to provide a service which will be rated with 100% satisfaction. All properties are left clean and tidy upon completion. No job is too small; Fibretech employees always keep to pre-arranged times in relation to initial visits and fitting.
Areas of coverage currently being Gloucestershire, Malvern and Ross-on-Wye.

Traditional Cold Roof Construction.

Old methods of constructing flat roofs was by the traditional method of insulating the void between the joists directly above the plasterboard. For habitable rooms this method of construction is no longer deemed cost effective or practicable. Warm air transports moisture in the form of water vapour, and any cold surfaces within a building have the potential to reach dew point when that warm air comes into contact with them. Moisture ingress into the roof space can occur in many ways.
Roof ventilation construction was often regarded as “the traditional way” of meeting the regulations. However, from an energy conservation perspective, introducing cold external air into roofs can be to the detriment of the construction by:
- Reducing the effectiveness of the insulation
- Promotes warm air leakage from the building into the roof space
- Increasing air infiltration into the heated building (draughts).

Traditional Warm Roof Construction.

From October 2010 and the implementation of Approved Document L1B (Conversion of Fuel and Power) an existing flat roof has been required by Law to comply with rigorous U Value targets, based on any refurbishment of more than 50% of your flat roof (LB1; Section 5.81 and Table 3 Column b). A warm roof system is the most efficient way to achieve these results as required and set out in accordance with current Building Regulations.

All new-build flat roofs require a warm roof construction to comply with Part L.
A warm roof is made from a rigid insulation board composite with integral foil backing (Vapour Barrier) that is placed above the roof joists and onto which the OSB3 decking and seamless fibreglass membrane is laid.

The clear space between the plasterboard ceiling and the roof deck provides an airspace where the air remains warm and the foil vapour control layer protects against condensation.

Flat roof garage – Fibretech’s price.

The following fibreglass flat roof refurbishment cost can be applied to any existing and failing free standing single garage roof within the area of coverage outlined; consisting of the following works:

Take off and remove to disposal existing roof covering and decking.
Treat existing joists with preservative.
Renew to existing falls; decking in OSB3 18mm.
Supply and fit new drip details, kerb edges and corner details.
Supply and fit new seamless fibreglass roof (cold roof) with Premier RoofitAll resin.
Finish with Premier Topcoat system.

Total price is for any stand alone garage roof (NE 5.1m x 2.4m on plan) laid on existing joists at centres no greater than 600mm – one thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (exclusive of VAT).

NB – Fibretechs can beat any genuine written estimate by an established company which can beat this price then Fibretechs will offer 5% discount on their estimate and provide a 25 year guarantee.

Jo and Drew did a brilliant job installing a new fibre glass roof and valley gutter at our new home. The original roof was in a very bad way and leaking. Jo and Drew sheeted the roof off to keep it watertight until they were able to start work. Once they started stripping the roof and installing the new one the worked tirelessly to get this done as quickly as possible. They finished within the time frames they allotted to the job and we are delighted with the results. Jo and Drew also helped me on other ongoing projects at our house with expert advice which I really appreciated.

We really would recommend using Fibretech to our friends and family, they were truly helpful, knowledgeable, tidy, considerate and the results speak for themselves.

used fibretechs to apply GRP coating to my garage roof, price was competetive and the work was first class, Drew and Jo were a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. They even travelled back one evening to put extra cover on the roof.
A first class job carried out by a very concientious team. Wil be recommending fibretechs to all my contacts. Clive Noble(Pro surface solutions).

From the outset Andrew and Jo have been extremely professional and very helpful from my initial contact with them to completion of the work carried out. Their workmanship is to an extremely high standard. Communication is exceptional. Andrew even secured plastic covering to the flat roof to stop any further rain damage (and this was before I had even agreed on his quotation, he could just see the issues I was having).
I was not at the house whilst work was being carried out due to my work schedule which did not concern me in the slightes. Jo even took a picture of the completed work and texted it to me at work! I will defintely be using them again and cannot recommend them highly enough. I also have a 25 year guarantee. Perfect! :).

The initial work was to replace a flat roof on a garage with fibreglass. The quote from Andrew and Jo was very detailed and promptly sent. Communication was very good and the work was done to a high standard. They were also very reliable. I have since used them for further work on the house. I highly recommend them.

Andrew and Jo were absolutely fantastic from the off. They came out of their way to look at the job on a Saturday, which was convenient for me but probably less so for them, and within a few hours I'd received a full written quote with a detailed schedule of works, itemised by item, supplier and cost. I was happy with the price quoted because I felt it was fair, reasonable and transparent. The work was scheduled for 2-3 weeks later.

Jo then kept in touch by text to let me know when I could expect the work to commence (it is weather dependent), but as it turned out it ended up being a couple of days earlier than planned which I was pleased about.

The work was completed quickly, to a high standard and everywhere was left clean and tidy. Jo kept in touch by text to let me know how it was going (I wasn't home while it was completed) and afterwards telephoned me to check I was happy with the end result and to let me know that they'd spotted a wasp's nest in another part of the property, which I wasn't aware of.

All in all I am very impressed with the way that Andrew and Jo run their business, their customer service and the quality of their product and workmanship. All of this at a reasonable price! So I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Brilliant.  .

I cannot praise Andrew enough. He has finished our flat roof to a very high standard, and has assisted, and still assisting in my claim from my insurers. He has been meticulous in his workmanship over and above what was actually required. All despite the appalling weather.

Fibretechs replaced the flat roof on my parents' bungalow after a local trader completed some very poor work. The finished roof is excellent and he was polite and clear in his explanations throughout providing real peace of mind at a difficult time.
Andrew (Fibretechs) also went above and beyond with advising me on work required on my own flat roof - I live in another area of the UK so he is not able to carry out the work. However despite knowing that the business could not come his way, he has gone that extra mile by taking considerable time to provide detailed, clear advice and guidance which is invaluable.
I would not hesitate to recommend Andrew to anyone looking for an honest, skilled roofer with bags of integrity.
