Fenella Davy Postnatal Doula - Doula ServiceFenella has always loved, and had a special understanding of, new babies, and wanted to return to work helping new mothers with their babies.
Covering the whole of the Bromley Borough area, she provides care and support to mothers with a new person in their life, whether it be the first or sixth baby, providing a sympathetic and understanding ear at all times. "Doula" is a Greek word meaning "hand maiden to the new mother" and that is exactly what she aims to be. She has completed the doula training course, a breast feeding course, and holds a certificate in first aid for babies.
A typical placement would be two or three mornings a week for three hours, and could last up to six months. Fenella finds her work immensely rewarding, both for herself and the families she looks after.

5.0 out of 5 | Fenella joined us when our son Oliver was 6 weeks old and suffering with terrible colic. We were first time parents and at our wits end as we didn't know what to do to help our son, we were all very low.
Right from the start we felt Fenella's calming influence and genuine love of babies was right for us. 5.0 out of 5 | We were delighted that we "found" Fenella. She assisted us after the birth of Daniel with all aspects of the baby and mommy care. We met pre birth and Fenella joined straight after birth for 3 mornings per week until Daniel was approx. 9 months old.
