Felix's School Of Rock launched in 2004 giving kids 9-16 a chance to rehearse / perform on stage in a rock band. Pro tutors - many with major credits - teach, mentor and produce each band, arranging a 10-15 minute set. In 2006, University of Rock was born for adults, and in 2007, the Rock Choir (adults). Students bring guitars - virtually every other bit of gear is provided, as is rehearsal space. All levels - beginners to ex-pros are welcome. The gigs are a blast - and rehearsals work on teamwork and group skills as well as music. FSOR is in Southeast London (Brockley) near Ladywell Station.

Felix's School of Rock has students from absolute beginners to Grade 6 standard classically trained players, who want to Rock. Among the University of Rock and Rock Choir for adults, there are teachers, solicitors, nurses, bankers, artists, designers, accountants and loads more. Music is the common denominator. Some students have performance experience, but most have either none, or none recently when they first sign up to a School of Rock, University or Choir session. And over 50% come back for more. The organisation is run by Felix Glenn who has been involved in the Performing Arts sector for many years. Having previously been employed in the music and education sectors, Felix Glenn is adequately trained to oversee the company, staff and students.
