1.7 out of 5 | I have used Event Tyres as their prices were the lowest I could find.
Booking was easy and actual fitting was ultra fast (circa 10 minutes for 2 tyres!)...however at a cost.
After the fitter had left I noticed some scratches on my alloys, probably caused by the fact that he rushed the fitting.
The fitter also told me he had checked the pressure in my new tyres but when I checked them myself I found that one tyre was at 31psi and one at 33psi. Again this probably comes from a rushed job.
I would have gladly paid a bit more for a better service, as the scratches on my alloys will be expensive to fix. So this ended up being a false economy.
Also, my testimonial was not 100% positive (but not 100% critical as I recognised the low price) but was not included on their website. So do not use the numerous positive feedback as a guide. It's easy to have only positive feedback if you do not publish anyone who dares criticise!
I also never received any answer to my email to their customer service department.
Will I use them again?
