4.7 out of 5 | Elle was a pleasure to be around on the morning of my wedding. She was calm, efficient and highly skilled in her make-up application. The trial 3 weeks before was great - Elle came to my house with loads of make-up and spent almost 2 hours discussing the look I wanted and trying different ideas. She really listened to me at the trial and was able to recreate the make-up pefectly on the wedding day. She also did the make-up for my 2 Bridesmaids. They went for slightly differnt styles of make-up but both looked amazing and they were really pleased with the end result. Elle uses top quality make up (mainly MAC) and it stayed on all day. I would recommed Elle to anyone looking for a Make-Up Artist, especially Brides-to-be as she is such a chilled out person to be around when preparing for your Wedding day. I knew that she was the right person when she came to my house to do a make up trial, so calm, friendly and professional and her skill in doing make up amazing. She really listened to what i wanted as i like make up really natural but enough to make it last all day. She came on the morning of the wedding and it was great to have almost an hour of relaxation time while she did my make up and it was great. I felt really confident that she would do a great job. Her range of MAC make up is fantastic and she gave good make up tips to the rest of my family too! I would not hestitate in recommending Elle to anyone who needs a make up artist. The make up was lovely, exactly what I had asked for at the consultation, and stayed on until I went to bed much later that day. Elle also gave me details of the lipstick she would apply on the day so I could buy one myself ready to touch up after all of the congratulatory kisses. She listened to the kind of make up style I wanted, not trying to influence me at all, and managed to create the look I was after absolutely perfectly. The make up Elle used was beautiful, she had such an array of colours and choice of foundations available and knew which would suit me best. The make up stayed in place perfectly all day and as such I was able to just relax and enjoy it. 4.7 out of 5 | Elle did my wedding make up in June this year and she was brilliant right from the off. Elle was very prompt in responding to my query and very flexible, even when I had to make a last minute adjustment to the arrangements for the day.
Elle went out of her way to ensure that everything ran smoothly and nothing seemed too much trouble for her. She spent time getting to know me, what I liked and did not like and the theme etc for the wedding thereby ensuring that the make up was exactly what I was looking for.
Elle was very friendly and accommodating and was able to put me at ease right from the start.
As for the make up on the day, I cannot fault it - it was amazing and exactly what I was looking for. I am glad that I didn't take the advice of friends and family (following bad experiences on their weddings) to do my own make up!! It is definitely worth paying for as it makes such a difference! It stayed looking perfect all day despite the rain and numerous hugs from family and friends and I felt incredible!

I was told that if Elle was available my search would be over; and it was! I met Elle when she came to my house for a wedding trial and it was like spending an hour or so with a friend. I felt very relaxed around her and was blown away by her make-up collection! Before Elle worked her magic there was a full consultation about how I wanted my make-up to look.
On the wedding day, Elle was as big a part as the bridesmaids! Again it was like a friend being there. Elle not only did my make-up, but four others and everyone looked amazing.

I am a bit of a geezer bird at heart and don't wear alot of make up usually and had already had 1 disasterous trial before contacting Elle, so was a little nervous. I needn't have been. Elle immediately put me at ease and totally listened and took on board everything I said.

I don't wear much make up so i was very nervous about having a full face of make up on the day and being out of my comfort zone; but i had a great initial consultation in which she made me feel at ease and took on exactly what look i had in mind. Elle also took pictures when my make up trial was done so that i could see how i would look on the day, which i wouldn't have thought of. I actually kept changing my mind about my makeup so i had several trial versions done, elle was more than happy to accommodate these extra sessions either at her house, or travelling to mine. Her knowledge of both make up application and products are very good, she knows her products and will advise you on what will do the best job for you. On the day she was punctual and relaxed. Elle's top priority is making you feel good and comfortable, as well as making you look fantastic. On a personal level she was very friendly, easy to talk to, and supportive.
