I was a nervous learner but Pete was always calm with me and helped me though anything I found difficult with lots of reassurance. He is of a much higher standard than other instructors I have heard about as his main priority is making sure I become a safe driver. He also encouraged me to use "commentary driving" which at first I felt a little awkward doing but it really does help! I would recommend Pete to anyone. Thanks Pete!

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - I had failed my test with a previous instructor, Pete went out of his way to make sure i had all the skills and understanding not just to pass my test, but to drive safely and with confidence in the skills i had learned. He was patient and used fun and interesting learning tools in the lessons.

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - The glass slipper of motoring schools- try it for yourself! Drivewise suited me so well even though I was not a natural driver, the instructor lead me through every stage with confidence and clear support so that I could see the progress I was making from one lesson to the next. Learning with the instructor was such a positive experience and sometimes down right hilarious but always professional. So if you are willing to listen and work hard and learn from the best try Drivewise and pass 1st time with ease like me! If you are really lucky you will pass the "Acid test" too but you will have to ask Pete about that.
Drivewise you have my highest recommendation and thanks, it is a cliché but I could not have done it with out you!

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - I'm so glad I chose Drivewise when learning to drive because not only did I really enjoy my lessons with Pete and found them effective but I also passed first time. He is extremely thorough and puts a tremendous amount of effort into guaranteeing the best result on the big day.
I felt confident and prepared on the day of my test and this was all down to the hours of hard work that Pete had put in to ensure I was ready and my driving was to a high standard. He also uses clever, innovative techniques such as commentary driving to bring out the best result in the test.
I couldn't of achieved a first time pass without Pete and Drivewise and many others couldn't have either. He has a extraordinary first time pass rate that can't be beaten.
Thanks a lot for all your hard work and I can easily say that I would always recommend Drivewise.

The service Pete provides is outstanding !! He is patient and very approachable in his manner, he takes time to explain everything to you and it does not matter how many times he has to repeat it until you get it, he really is a superb driving instructor and i will be recommending him to all my friends !!!
Thanks to Pete i passed first time !!!!
His lessons are good value for money and well worth every penny.

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - I had an instructor before Pete, and i must of had about 10 hours of lesson time with him, with that i didn't even get too drive home! I felt like the things i was doing were ethier the same thing or too the other extreme which was too advance.
I decieded too go with a different instructor and thats when i went with Peter Hartley.
The first lesson was awesome, me and Pete had a plan, what the objectives were for the lesson, what he was looking from me, and he helped step by step - I even drove home with confidence on my first lesson!
During the course of driving i found it tough because i was so eager too pass i wanted it straight away, but Pete kept me focused and motivated me every lesson.
When booking my Theory test, Pete made sure i booked it and kept me on track for when it came too revising for it.
My driving them went too another level, as we started doing test routes, getting too know the area! Pete as many different tactics too help you become a better driver. He taught me how too " commentary driving" This is basically talking to yourself as you drive, whats around you, signs, distance with cars, junctions, what gear i should be in ect ect.... Know at first i was lik "Noooooooooooo Wayyyyy". But Pete made me feel so comfortable i didn't feel like an idiot doing it.
When i went into my test i said to the women, me and my instructor do this things called commentary driving, this is were i talk to myself while i drive, are you ok with this? and she smiles and said thats fine!
As i drove around i kept talking and my good it helped. I PASSED!!!! First time!!!! GET IN MY SON!
The commentary driving is just one example how Pete made me more confident as a driver, but he is awesome, a great guy and really understands every situation you feel.
His record speaks for himself! I remember walking into the waiting room for the test center and looking at all the people in there with there insutructors all nervous. I walked in there, full of confidence and a great bond with Pete. I knew at that point i would pass first time!!

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - Passing my driving test is something i could never imagine doing. I spent ages putting off getting started because I always felt I would never be able to drive.
When I started my lessons with DriveWise straight away I began to grow with confidence and Pete gave me the belief to go onto pass FIRST TIME!!
I honestly believe I would never have been able to do it if i hadn't of choose DriveWise as my instructor.
I had never felt so READY and PREPARED on the day of my Test it was great! I went into the test with confidence and real desire to pass and the reason I had that was all down to my instructor, Pete Hartley.
