Doves 4 Love is a small business offering a white dove release service in Lincolnshire for special occasions, tailored to your individual requirements. Doves 4 Love cover a 30 mile radius of Lincoln (as the dove flies.... ) The company, which is located in Washingborough (Lincoln), was established in 2006 and has many years' experience in the dove release business.
Doves 4 Love will provide beautiful pure white doves to be released from heart shaped baskets or bird cages, decorated to match your colour scheme, for events such as weddings, civil ceremonies, birthdays, anniversaries, and also memorials/funerals. Doves 4 Love trained dove release coordinators will demonstrate how to handle the birds should clients wish to release the doves by hand.
Doves 4 Love are members of the National Association of White Dove Release Professionals UK and the Royal Pigeon Racing Association and have many years of experience with the birds. We hired Doves 4 Love as a surprise for our wedding guests and as something different and personal to us with birds and birdcages being a part of our theme. Having had numerous correspondences with Shirley before the day to organise everything and a practise release (which was very helpful) we knew from the outset that we had made a good decision. Shirley set the beautifully decorated cages up indoors at the entrance to our aisle so that guests could see them as they were coming in. After the ceremony we all ventured out towards the beautiful lakeside setting where our ceremony was being held so that my new husband and I could release the birds. Shirley did a lovely reading for us before we set the birds free. She also had lovely little personal touches which made the whole service that bit more wonderful. Shirley has an obvious dedication to her work and her devotion and love for the birds shines through in everything she does. Thank you so much for being a part of our special day! shirley was amazing professional from start to finish. She helped with verses and even read them for me. It was my renewal of vows and a close family friend died and his service was in the same church 5 days before my service, shirley was so supportive during this time, she even helped with a poem for absent friends and a separate dove which my grandaughter released , we went from tears of sadness to tears of laughter with my grandaughters reaction, shirley thank you so much for making my day so special, she matched the colours perfectly, she also did so much more but I wont spoil the suprises. Shirley started out as a name and ended up a special friend, i am trying to think of another occasion I can use shirleys doves.Even jessica and grace looked amazing and even posed for the cameras.
We had Shirley and 8 of her beautiful doves for our wedding on 23rd June 2012 at Kenwick park, Shirley was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble even when I kept changing my mind :-) Shirley defiantly gave 110 per cent to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted it. The doves themselves were beautiful and everyone had a tear in their eyes at the releases, not to mention the gorgeous pictures everyone captured so once again Shirley thank you so much for making our special day perfect :-) xx love Rachel and Richard Hatch.
We had the dove release for Freya's christening on Sunday. Shirley was lovely and put Freya at ease before she released "Colin". Colin took flight to applause from everybody at the christening. I can fully recommend Shirley and her Dove's for any special event.
My daughter Freya was christened last Sunday and my Mum had the idea of the Dove release, Shirley attended the christening and explained all about it to Freya (4yrs). Freya was a little apprehensive but Shirley put her at ease! Time was spent by Shirley making it a beautiful end to the church service. Freya released "Colin" from the basket and he beautifully took flight as we captured it all by a photographer. The basket "Colin" was in was decorated to co ordinate with Freya's dress! I loved that!!!! It was a breath taking moment and I would 100% recommend Shirley and her Doves. Thankyou so so much for making the day magical. A priceless moment with a beautiful memory.
What a fantastic service doves 4 love supplied to our daughters wedding day and also before having a trial run as my daughter was a little unsure of the relaese part of holding the doves etc, but what an asset to have these people on your special day coundn't fault them in any way and so professional.thanks ever so much Shirley and co,from Kath and Tye
We used shirley and norm and their gorgeous doves again this year. We used them for our wedding and now our daughters christening!! Again Shirley made the day even more wonderfull and made it so personal!! Shirley even used one of the doves that flew on our wedding day so that all our love and luck was shared with our daughter aswell!!! Such fab People, fab prices and fab doves!! An exceptional friendly service that I will continue to use for special occasions in the future!! A massive thank you to Shirley for making our daughter Maisie Roses Christening so special and that little bit different! We had decided on a bird theme to the Christening - all the decorations etc and then my grandparents told me about a wedding and a christening which Shirley and her doves attended which made me think how fitting and special it would be if we could have them at our christening, best decision we ever made it was fantastic not only for us but all of our guests got involved and all commented on what a lovely idea it was! The communication and help from Shirley was all we could of wished for and I would recommend Doves 4 Love to everyone Thank you again so much for making Maisie's day so special for us! Wow! what a spectacular site at my daughters wedding. We decided to have a dove release to remember absent family and friends. The help I got from Shirley was incredible. She put so much work and effort into getting everything perfect for us, and perfect it most certainly was. My daughter was delighted and on the day released 2 birds by hand, another 2 from the basket and 12 at the end. Shirley has been wonderful and helped me choose poems etc, and the communication was excellent. The release of the birds meant a lot to us and Shirley made absolutely sure that everything was wonderful for my daughter's wedding. It was very obviuous to us that Shirley loves her birds and she put the welfare of them before anything else.
