Placed order on Nov. 13th, 2011, for 2 pairs of sunglasses and paid immediately. First pair received within a few days, but the second pair has not been shipped to me up until now (almost 4 months later). 3 Weeks ago, I was promised a refund to my paypal account. Nothing arrived so far.

I bought ski googles and helmet from Direct Sunglasses. I phoned my order through and customer services were polite and my goods were in stock and came the next day as promised.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Order 19 July, money taken immediately. 1 week later no sign of goods so phone up to be told not in stock nor any clear idea when they would be in stock so cancelled the order. 4 Aug now and still no refund. Called to complain only to be told that the money won't be refunded for more than another 2 weeks. I was quoted the Distance Selling Directive several times but I suspect this is a grey area as they are refunding me for something I haven't received in the first place. I suspect that their cash flow is very poor and they are having to use this business model to fund the business. If you do feel compelled to use them, call to get, IN WRITING, that the goods you want are in stock and what the exact delivery date will be.
