Dawn Hirst began childminding in August 2006, Dawn Hirst focuses on providing full time, part time, term time, and holidays day care to people throughout the local area. The business is located in Elland.

Enabling parents to work flexible long sociable hours whilst they leave their children in a trusting and caring place, the business provides parents with a well run and safe environment. Meals are inclusive of their child care. Children are able to use crafts supplies, sand and water table, secure and clean garden, with toys for all ages including dressing up clothes and with a friendly person on hand at every opportunity. Their service is intended as peace of mind for parents whilst they work, knowing their childminder is fully registered.

Dawn is qualified in Introductory Childcare Practice, is also a certified paediatric first aider and is currently completing a safeguarding children course and intend's to take further courses in the foreseeable future. Also take children to and from St Patrick's Catholic primary school. Dawn Hirst - Childminder is a member of National Childminding Association. The childminding business can supply long lasting entertainment that are appropriate for children of all ages. The general idea is to help children with a range of activities before nursery or reception, spending time visting parks, play areas, soft play areas and much more. The events planned are available at no extra cost and are included in the fees unless stated by letter to the parent. If extra fees are necessary, parents will be given plenty of notice.
