Darren Marks practises hypnotherapy in London and is one of London's foremost hypnotherapists and hypnotherapy trainers. He worked as a hypnotherapist for The South East Cancer Help Centre for many years and his London and Hertfordshire hypnotherapy work has featured in both the specialist and popular media.
Darren is a very experienced hypnotherapist and has diplomas in hypnotherapy as well as NLP. Darren has been awarded the Senior Qualification in hypnotherapy by the GHR in recognition of his experience in the field. He is also a featured therapist of The Hypnotherapy Association and approved by the NHS Trust of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.

4.7 out of 5 | I contacted Darren as I was suffering from anxiety and panic attacks due to a difficult family situation. I didn't want to go down the medication route and the CBT offered by the NHS wasn't working out. I was shocked at how different I felt after just one double session..an amazing sense of calm and inner peace. I just felt unable to work myself up in the same way I had been doing in previous months. I had one more follow up session with Darren and have since downloaded several mp3's from the website that I felt applicable to me. The situation that triggered the anxiety has not gone away but I feel equipped to deal with it and it's no longer having a detrimental effect on my health and wellbeing. Four weeks on and I think this is the best decision I ever made. I've benefitted far more from this than I could have hoped for in a general sense too and am addressing issues with the mp3 downloads that I've just carried along with me throughout life. The positive effects have continued and developed as time has passed and I look forward to more of the same! 4.7 out of 5 | Darren was recommended by a friend as a means to help my long-standing sleep problems. I kept putting off phoning as I felt very apprehensive at the prospect but Darren put me at ease from the start and took my problem very seriously which was also reassuring.
I found the hypnotherapy to be a fascinating experience. It was deeply relaxing but in another way was quite hard work as I found distant memories invoked some surprisingly strong feelings but Darren gently enabled me to take charge for the first time. I have found that the techniques learned from my four hypnotherapy sessions together with the mp3s Darren supplied have indeed helped me to sleep deeply. It's such a relief.

5.0 out of 5 | It took Darren Marks just 4 appointments to overcome longstanding problems I had faced for 30 years, which cognitive therapy on the NHS had failed to solve.My life was full of fear and anxiety and my self-asteem and self-confidence were poor.Apprehensive at first,I soon relaxed as I found Darren easy to talk with and he seemed to understand my problems from the beginning.Under hypnosis(which is unbelievably relaxing) Darren guided me through a process to turn my negative emotions and limiting values into positive learning experiences.My problems have been overcome and I can feel my confidence increasing.I feel calmer and I can notice changes daily in the way I get along with people.I feel that my confidence will continue to increase and I am more positive about the future.Thankyou once again Darren.

5.0 out of 5 | I felt I had reached a point in my life where I could no longer live with my anxiety, depression and general downbeat look on life; which I felt was holding me back not in only in my career but also in my personal life as well particluarly relationships. In my desperation I decided to try hypnotherapy as I read a few testimonials which sounded similar to my situation. I only choose Darren because his office was the closest to where I lived. Almost 10 months on from the session I had with him I am still thankful how lucky I was to choose him.
Darren himself is very prsonable very approachable. Considering my anxiety beforehand, he made me feel completely relaxed. I don't know much about pschology and hypnotherapy but from my session he seemd very knowledgable about both and what I thought, was able to quite masterfully not only get to the route-cause of issues I was having but also changed my behaviours. Immediately after the session I was a little sceptical as the only feeling and thoughts I had was, I was more relaxed and feel happy for no reason.
But over the last 10 months I have noticed that thanks to that one session that I had with him I am totally a different person. I have gone from someone who would be scared to go to a shop and ask for something to now talking to large groups of people and loving it.
I took the 'Life Changing Session' and it really has changed my life in an unrecognisable way. The strangest thing about the whole thing was it has not been instant (as initially thought) but that even today I continue to benefit as my behaviours and thoughts are continually changing almost everyday.

5.0 out of 5 | Absolutely WONDERFUL. Fast delivery, check out was easy to use, and most importantly Darren Marks hypnotherapy is effective. Darren lives in London and I live in Seattle, and by using Skype and the internet we were able to have a wonderfully effective personal session. And it was so easy, Darren worked with me on some problems I had and like magic they just melted away. So, by having a session with Darren Marks and by using some of his hypnotherapy audios, I have been able to overcome pain from major surgery (total Knee replacement). The doctor's were having a difficult time managing my pain with narcotics/oxycontine, nothing worked. I found that when I used some of the relaxing suggestions that I learned from Darren and if I also used Darren's "Relax and Recharge" audio - it worked so well that I was able to stop taking most of the narcotic pain meds, but the truly amazing thing was that after listening to Darren Mark's audios, I not only felt pain free, but I felt good enough to walk in only 3 days after having my left knee totally replaced. My doctors are amazed . My surgeon is actually going to let me bring my Ipod into surgery (I have to have the other knee replaced in a few months) so that I can listen to Darren's audios so that my pain control will be easier in the Recovery (Post OP) Room. I absolutely recommend all of Darren Marks' hypnotherapy audios as well as having the private sessions with him.
