Darcguard Training Club - Dog TrainerEstablished in 2005, Darcguard Training Club has over 20 years experience in the Dog Training profession, with the focus on providing quality training and support to clients throughout the region. The club is situated in Stenhousemuir (Larbert).
Enabling owners to understand and control their dogs training take place on tuesday evenings within the Dobbie Hall Larbert but further training is offered by appointment, the organisation provides individuals with a range of training options. With the benefit of a large hall, free parking and friendly experienced handlers, the club is intended to be relaxing and enjoyable.
Darcguard Training Club has a satisfied network of clients, situated in the local area, including pet owners , show handlers, obedience handlers. The company is managed by Shona Martin who has been involved in the Dog Training sector for many years. Having previously been involved in the Scottish obedience team, she is currently engaged to manage the club.

4.7 out of 5 | Having had a few problems with my staffordshire x and how he behaved with other dogs I contacted Shona after recommendations from several people. After speaking at length about my dogs background and routine Shona agreed a one to one training session (as I live some distance from the club) We met Shona and within minutes of meeting it was clear she had an incredible understanding of dogs and their behaviour. Within a few minutes my dog was walking without pulling and was walking alongside Shonas own dog without showing aggression.
We spent an hour or so with Shona explaining how my behaviour and expectations impacted on my dogs behaviour and taught me various techniques (all praise and reward related) of how to help my dog be more confident and happy.
Unfortunately I stay about an hour and a quarters drive from the club otherwise I would be going every week. Shona has stayed in touch and continued to offer feedback and advice and when the nights are lighter I will definitely make a point of going along to her club at least a couple of times over the summer.
Friendly, Knowledgeable, Helpful - definitely recommend.

4.7 out of 5 | I have two Rottweilers and a Cocker Spaniel,all have attended this club and I have nothing but praise for all Shona has done for me and my dogs.
It's not all serious all the time as she has fun nights and now and again we go for rambles weather permitting.
