The organisation provides young people with a range of drama, singing, performance, filming, editing, directing and writing skills and has on-site facilities at Upton Heath Primary School and Upton High School, Chester. The experienced staff ensure members learn many new skills and create dynamic and creative pieces of theatre. The success of Cutting Edge Arts is currently seen in high quality performances and award winning short films to make sure the best potential is met every time.
The company is managed by Richard Smith who has been involved in the Performing Arts trade for many years. Richard smith is an experienced teacher and lecturer and more than able to take good care of the organisation, having previously worked for The Gateway Theatre, Chester and the University of Chester.
