|Sent my ipod touch 4th gen to get repraired and it returned to me with the screen improperly fitted, this caused it to crack and now the screen does not respond to my touches. Refunds have been refused to me, as has another repair job unless I pay full price again. Very dissapointed. Waste of Money.|
Company response : We work to very high standards, sometimes situations denote negative but constructive ratings, this is one.
If the damage had been reported straight away then it would have been dealt with under warranty without question, there were no reports of the damage for a number of weeks after delivery...
The iPod left our workshops in perfect condition in tailor made inflatable packaging, we never received a report from the customer stating that the iPod was not repaired properly or cracked as was originally stated by David that the screen was cracked when it arrived back with him, the only communication we received was a number of weeks after delivery stating that the screen was cracked on arrival.
We welcome customers to report anything that they are not happy with when they receive the device within 7 days of signing for it but this was not taken up by David.
We offered to take up the case with Royal Mail in case the breakage happened in the mail system, we could not offer a free or discounted repair as the alleged damage was not reported for a number of weeks after it arrived back, we are sorry for this but this is company policy which is quite fair.
