Situated in a superb rural location, just 4 miles from Wigtown (National Booktown), guests may be sure of a warm welcome at Croft House. The traditional stone cottage stands in its own beautifully landscaped gardens, and has been recently refurbished to offer warm and comfortable guest accommodation all year round, while retaining the character of the original building.

The main guest room, with a kingsize bed, situated on the first floor, is equipped with tea/coffee-making facilities and its own luxurious bathroom just across the hall. A second double bedroom is available to friends/family willing to share a bathroom.
The delightful conservatory, enjoying panoramic views across open farmland, doubles as breakfast area and guests' tv lounge, with a roaring wood-burning stove in Winter, making it a cosy place to relax after a day's walking in the Galloway Hills, or exploring the many historical treasures of the area. Guests are welcome to relax in the delightful cottage-style garden and soak up the peace and tranquility of the surrounding countryside.
Home-cooked evening meals and packed lunches are available on request.

Vegetarian food is always available, and special diets (including lactose and gluten free) catered for on request, - please discuss any special requirements when booking.
