Cosmetic Sophistication is a growing non-surgical cosmetic treatment business offering semi-permanent makeup, medical tattooing - including scar removal and camouflage, anti-wrinkle treatments, lip enhancement with dermal fillers, facial thread vein removal, acne treatment, chemical peels and top quality medical 'Dermaquest' skincare to clients throughout the local area. The business, which is located in Crowborough, is owned by Wendy Calver, a registered nurse of many years experience. She is a member of Harley Aesthetics, Royal College of Nursing and the British School of Dermagraphic Art.
Wendy aims to provide her clientele with a professional and affordable service and very much wants to help her male and female clients to feel more confident about their appearance. For people who prefer not to have a substance injected into their skin, a very effective new treatment, MCA, can be used instead. It is ideal for wrinkles, scar removal, and can be very helpful for stretch marks.
Control of pain is vital to a comfortable and successful treatment, so anaesthetic is used either topically or injected whenever possible. New treatments, Sub-Q, a treatment used for enhancing cheekbones and replacing lost volume will be available in May and soon after that, tattoo removal. For removal of facial thread veins, spider naevi and blemishes, a veinwave machine is used, which does not cause scarring and is very effective. Wendy was so caring and hygiene top class. I was pleased with the process and one year later there is no further distortion where I had the scarring. Brilliant!
Wendy also treated my teenage daughter (16) for spots. She gave her a special facial mask and a treatment regime for the next month or so. It worked really well and help reduce a really spotty face to something she can live with.
