College of Public Speaking is formed from trainers who are members of the Association of Speakers Clubs, a National voluntary body that assists individuals with their speaking needs. Vince Stevenson served as an officer of the ASC at all levels up to and including the National Executive and in April 2007 was placed third in a National speaking final.

4.7 out of 5 | I found the course very useful. The trainer critiqued by presentation style with various challenging exercises video recorded and analysed. I have a number of key areas on which to work (preparation, introduction impact, presentation hooks, closing impact, etc). 4.7 out of 5 | I arranged for 2 of my colleagues to spend a day with Vince in order to get them to a postion where they would be confident and able enough to train our users on a new IT system.
I was stunned when I saw them deliver their first training course - they demonstrated levels of confidence, ability to build a rapport with the audience, and an excellent ability to use their voices in a manner that kept the trainees focused, which was way beyond what I imagined them to be capable of.
My two colleagues informed me that Vince was terrific in identifying the key areas that they needed to work on and gave them some great tips to help them build up their confidence levels in delivering training courses.
Vince got them to believe in themselves and focused relentlessly throughout the day on ensuring that they worked hard to improve their presentation skills
It was obvious to my colleagues that Vince had extensive experience in public speaking as they were in awe when he demonstrated what was possible in presentations.

4.7 out of 5 | I took three coaching sessions with Vince at the College of Public Speaking, with the aim of developing my performance in the art and discipline of refining my impact and delivery of keynote speeches. Vince developed great rapport, clarified my goals, provided great support, skilfully provoked areas where I could do better, offered direct advice and ideas where this was appropriate rather than pussyfooting around areas where I needed to be challenged. This was only possible due to Vince's extensive experience in public speaking plus an array of coaching techniques which were used authentically and naturally rather than in a 'wooden' way.
I have already put the lessons learned into practice and this has enabled me to significantly raise my profile with key clients. At the same time, I have secured a slot as a TV presenter, which is a vital aspect of gaining more business for my company. This has arisen in part as a direct consequence of the confidence and skills I developed with Vince.
I would recommend Vince to anyone seeking to develop their personal performance in ways that lead to top and bottom line performance
improvement. He sets himself apart from the coaching community by his ability to engage with real life issues and not just the 'psychology' of coaching.
