Clwydian Ecology - Ecological ConsultantBased in North Wales, Clwydian Ecology is a small independent consultancy offering Ecological Surveys to clients throughout Wales, Midlands and the North-West. Formed in 2008 as Clwydian Ecology, David Bennett has over 12 years experience in the ecological and conservation field.
With modern equipment and experienced and qualified staff, Clwydian Ecology provides an expert, yet friendly ecological service to clients. The service is designed to be cost effective, enabling clients to understand and be able to resolve planning and protected species issues.
A wide range of services are available with the main focus being protected species, in particular bats, barn owls and great crested newts. Surveys can be tailored to your requirements and help can be given with planning and licensing requirements. Other ecological services include Phase 1 surveys and more detailed botanical work including lower plants. An invertebrate survey and identification service is also available.
The majority of survey work is carried out by David Bennett. If required additional help can be obtained via a network of ecological contacts. David Bennett is a full member of IEEM and adheres to their code of conduct, he is qualified to BSc and MSc level in environmental and ecological subjects.
