The therapist will look far beyond the mere application of essential oils and seek to treat the whole person to achieve a physical and mental balance.
The therapist is qualified to treat clients with serious conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, heart conditions, blood pressure, kidney and liver diseases etc. For clients with cancer, it should be noted that the therapist cannot “treat” cancer, merely offer immense comfort and support, whilst easing pain and induce relaxation, aromatherapy can be a valuable additional therapy in such cases.
As the the only therapist at Clason Health, qualified since 2004, awarded the SQA Higher National Unit in Aromatherapy also a College Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy, which was an intensive 1½ years study and is accredited by the Guild of Complementary Practioners.
