Choi Kwang Do Richmond - Martial ArtsChoi Kwang Do Richmond is a modern martial art school offering a practical form of self defence to both public and private clients throughout the local area. The Richmond school, which is located in North Richmond (near North Sheen train station), was set-up in 2007 and has many years experience in the martial arts and self defence industry.
Choi Kwang-Do is a non-contact self defence. This means that, during training, students work with each other, as opposed to against each other, in a non-aggressive environment.
Choi Kwang-Do promotes minimum joint impact. Many martial arts put excess strain on the joints with locking / jarring movements. As Choi Kwang-Do has been scientifically designed, traditional martial art techniques have been radically updated to not only prevent such injury – but also to benefit the individuals overall health. The techniques and movements used can actually rehabilitate the body.
Choi Kwang-Do is suitable for all ages and all abilities. Choi Kwang-Do is based on individual physical condition, ability and skill level. Students can train regardless of age, physical limitations or disabilities.
