Charles Lane is a fine art photographer who shoots fashion, portraiture, and the natural world both on location and in his studio. Charles likes to add a fine art feeling to his work that engages the viewer, provides a sense of place and evokes an emotional response.

Charles turned professional in 2005 and he moved his studio to Tring, from Suffolk, in 2011.

Charles’ speciality is shooting on location. He has a full complement of Elinchrom location lights, battery packs and accessories. Charles has photographed in many locations from fashion in the city to portraits up a mountain and everything in between.
He can also shoot any studio work whether still life, pack shots or for Ebay.
Post production can be done to suit your needs or given a fine art feel.
Full printing services are also available.
Charles is happy to travel as required.

Much of Charles’ work is available as fine art prints.
Charles likes to print on Papyrus 100% cotton rag that blurs the distinction between traditional art and photography.
Double mounted A4 prints start at 55 pounds and can go up to A3+ (329 x 483 mm, 13 x 19 inches).
Canvas blocks are also available and he can also supply work printed on acrylic and aluminium. Please email or call for more details.
