| 2.05 2.0 out of 5 - My initial purchase of a Dapol locomotive was really satisfactory, my mistake was not test running it before giving it to my mother to tuck away as my christmas present.
Upon receiving it for christmas it took me a couple of weeks to get round to giving it a test run on some new track where it did not run correctly.
Castle Train's response to the situation was that they couldn't and wouldn't help and another store in the west midlands sent it to the manufacturer on my behalf which sorted the issue.
This shop might be great as a toy shop but not, in my experience, as a model shop.

| 4.35 4.3 out of 5 - I had visited the shop with my husband not being aware that their toy department was so extensive.
The staff were very helpful in finding a suitable toy for 6 year old boy.
I have never seen so much sylvanian families, lego and playmobil in a small shop such as this.
Will definitely visit again.
