out of 5 | I recently came across Calloway Green as a result of searching for SEO services. I run a very small team building business and can't afford glamorous, expensive consultancies so a free book was a good toe dipping opportunity. I have to say, the book was fantastic. It was simple to read and easily understandable. Even as I read it, light bulbs were going on as I realised how ineffective my website was. I started off by trying a few things out on a particular section of my web and within a week I had moved it from "nowhere" on google to top of page 3. Which may not sound much, but when you consider there are over 500,000 pages returned in the search listings and mine is 21st I think that's pretty spectacular in a week. I also experimented with another page on my website and got it to page 5 in just over a week, then tweaked it a bit and got it to page 2 and now, with a bit more tweaking have got it onto page 1. So, out of 485,000 pages I am number 9. Check it out, just type in "implementing performance management" into google and there I am, in number 9 spot (maybe higher by the time you read this, or lower if I haven't kept things up to date!). Anyway, I just wanted to point out that Calloway Green didn't have to provide me with this book and could have just tried to charge me lots of money to do things themselves. They did however and it's been invaluable to me, so much so that I am going to ditch my existing web design company and use Calloway Green for the additional modifications that I want on my web. I think they are brilliant and they do what they say they'll do. Go onto their website and check them out for yourself, download their DIY SEO book for free and see just how great it is.
