CAB Training - Forklift Truck Training

CAB Training offers comprehensive RTITB Accredited Training Courses, for mechanical handling equipment which range from basic training for operators with no previous experience through to conversion courses, such as counterbalance conversion to reach, on customer premises.

CAB Training can provide Training in the following categories:

Pallet and Platform Trucks - Generic
Reach Truck
Counter Balance Lift Truck
Narrow Aisle Man-up / Man-down Lift Trucks
Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler.
Manual Handling.

CAB Training are available to conduct training on company premises, 7 days a week Mon / Sun any time of day or evening.

Course Criteria
Novice (5 days) 3 trainees / 1 instructor.
Novice (4 days) 2 trainees / 1 instructor.
Novice (3 days) 1 trainee / 1 instructor.
Trainees will have no previous experience of operating lift trucks.

Existing Op (3 days) 3 trainees / 1 instructor.
Existing Op (2. 5 days) 2 trainees / 1 instructor.
Existing Op (2 days) 1 trainee / 1 instructor.
It is anticipated that those attending this course will have some previous experience (possibly self-taught) and will not have had the benefit of adequate formal Training.

Refresher (1 day) 3 trainees / 1 instructor.
This training, as the title suggests, is only for operators who have earlier been given adequate basic training, and are appropriately certificated. This training will focus on correcting areas of weakness.

Conversion (1 day) 3 trainees / 1 instructor.
This course is appropriate where there is a significant variation to the controls, function and power source from the truck types previously used by the operator.
