T - Rex 450, T - Rex 500, comet 500, belt cp, Mini titan, Walkera, honey bee king 2 and many, many other makes of heli's, have been built by the company. Installation of helicommand, switchable function on / off and for 3D hovering and flight. Experience in a wide range of gyros.
With 1 experienced technician, Build-my-helicopter are qualified to a high standard. They have a large group of customers that are located in the UK and abroad including local clubs. The company is managed by John Young who has been involved in the rc industry for over 25 years. Having previously worked for a broad range of companies, John Young is able to oversee the business.

5.0 out of 5 | It is refreshing to know that there is someone who will build and test fly your helicopter, then return it ready to fly out of the box.I first saw this service advertised by Heliguy. I ordered the T Rex 450 SE V2 and Helicommand from Heliguy. They sent it off to Ireland and within one week it was back,built and ready to fly. I am a complete novice at helis and had a few teething problems, however the excellent backup service and advice from Heliguy has been fantastic.I am now flying my heli like an expert and I am very pleased with the service and help received. I can thoroughly recommend this method of operation and Heliguy for their help,and I will use their services again very soon.Many thanks, Mike Woodrow |
5.0 out of 5 | John undertook a thorough examination of a new Honey Bee King 2. He made some low cost suggestions how to improve performance and within 2 days returned the heli. The difference in flight characteristics was extraordinary, and John was extremely helpful with further advice on the phone. 4.3 out of 5 | I approached Build My Helicopter with a specific problem on my Belt CP. They diagnosed and repaired the fault quickly and recommended upgraded parts that would allow the heli to fly better. The DVD sent out with my heli verified the flight controls were spot on. During the test flight I noted that when hovering little or no control input was required to keep the heli in a stable hover. Regular emails kept me in touch with the progress.

I frantically put in a GOOGLE SEARCH and found Build My Helicopter.WoW.. The service cannot be faulted on my part. Having packed off a 450se v2 for completion, on its return the wiring of the 450 is a true work of art for any rc buff too admire. He went above and beyond what was required giving a test flight to show and explain what had been done.
Advice was also offered at each stage regarding future parts upgrades.
I have already referred my RC friends to him and will I expect, make a few return visits.

4.3 out of 5 | I heard about this web site from a friend and was told that they were very helpful and quick to deal with and very competitive prices so i decided to try them am glad i did as helicopters is all new to me i did compare the price they gave me and the price i would of paid in a model shop i was shocked to how much i saved and it did not stop there as i had problems building it the guy spent over an hour on the phone explaning it to me top guy thanks a million will be back for definate.
