The Bristol Kettlebell Club is owned and run by Peter Luffman, an established personal trainer who has a track record of helping members of the public lose weight, build strength and increase cardiovascular fitness using a number of different fitness tools. He is also an experienced hardstyle certified kettlebell coach and teaches kettlebell training through workshops and classes.

Bristol Kettlebell Club offers kettlebell classes, one to one personal training, group training, kettlebell introduction lessons and program design.

If interested in joining the kettlebell club go to the kettlebell classes webpage and sign up for the intro lesson. New trainees will be taught correct technique to ensure training is safe and effective. Kettlebells are a phenomenal exercise tool and are used by athletes around the world as part of a strength and conditioning routine. I had never been particularly fit, but as I reached my mid 20's I did what most people do when they want to get fit and lose weight - I started to run and joined a gym. This was ok for a while and I lose weight, but I quickly got bored and ended up putting on more weight than when I started. I never had really eaten junk food and cook all my meals from scratch, but weight just slowly crept on and I couldn't put my finger on it, until the end of 2011 when I found Kettlebells!
I didn't see a sudden transformation initially, but that was down to me and my diet. However, the start of 2012 opened up a new world to me. I actually WANTED to change! I really stared to listen to Pete's advice, not only on training, but on nutrition and it's made a world of difference. Pete has the ability to educate you on all levels of your training - to help you understand how to get the best out of your body. He'll push you to achieve your best without the military drill - he makes you want to train. I had a period of illness at the beginning of the year and he would drop me a line to see how I was doing, you don't get that at fitness first!

I could go on about how much weight I've lost but what I've realised through Pete, is that it's not a goal to be skinny. It's a goal to be strong and healthy. I have lost weight. I have lost inches. I have gone down a dress size, but more importantly I can dead lift near to my body weight. I can do press ups (admittedly only a few). I can press a 12kg bell. I can swing a 20kg bell. I’m fitter, stronger and healthier I’ve ever been and it’s all thanks to Pete!

I have been kettle bell training now for 8 months and very much enjoy the sessions. The training routine is different each session and the variety makes it more enjoyable. I have noticed a great improvement in my overall fitness, particularly when undertaking different activities such as walking and cycling. Will definitely continue!!

I have been attending classes with Bristol Kettlebell Club for 8 months. As an instructor, Pete is unique in terms of his professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication. For him quite simply 'nothing is too much trouble'. I do not see my kettlebell training as a burden or painful exercise regime. I see it as a new lifestyle package which includes new friendships. For the first time in 9 years I am happy with my figure, confident in tight clothing and feeling super strong. Kettlebells has been instrumental in helping me fight depression. People should be fully aware of the physchological benefits.

I took part in one of Pete's boot camps over 2 years ago and I have never looked back! Kettlebell training has become part of my life as the results are endless and with the amazing support and encouragement from Pete I have achieved things I never thought imaginable!

Kettlebell training requires a good technique and Pete is very attentive to ensure that you do everything correctly. With commitment and the right diet the results come quickly.
What I am really surprised about is how my strength and stamina have increased at the same time as losing inches and pounds. In this year so far I have won the Bristol Kettlebell Club Strong Man/Woman competition, beaten my personal best in an internal fitness test and taken part in a military event (Outside of the club but with Pete and other members).... All of which I would never dreamed of doing 2 years ago without the support and encouragement I receive at the club.

Another great thing about the Bristol Kettlebell Club is that Pete is a not only a great instructor, but he also creates a fun and social atmosphere, where I have met amazing people and gained friends. Together we work towards achieving our goals. I have no hesitation in recommending you try this, you won't regret it.

I've been attending classes for about 6 weeks, and have just signed up for personal training with Pete.
I've tried lots of other types of exercise in the past but I've never tried anything like kettle bells before, but now I have I'm addicted!
I love that every session is different, and is designed for all abilities.
Pete's enthusiasm and commitment is exceptional, he is always on hand to give guidance and has lots of helpful information and advice.
In a short space of time I have already increased my fitness level and lost weight which is something I find impossible to do normally.
My only regret is that I didn't join sooner!

My diet is good but I have never been able to commit to a sport. I get bored quickly and see no result so then I give up. Since I joined Pete at his Kettle bell classes my life changed. In less than 2 months I dropped 1 dress size, I got back to how toned I was when I was a teenager... You can even se my abs now! But what is exceptional is that I never had this much fun doing exercise. Your confidence grows with your strength and I genuinely look forwards to next class. Pete is an excellent instructor and don't worry if (like me) you are unfit when you join, trust me with Pete's help you will see the results before the month is over! And if you have any questions Pete is better than wikepedia when it comes to exercise and diet. There is nothing better and the value for money is great too. Joining is the best step you can take to change your life for the better.

Bristol Kettlebell Club is awesome! I attend the classes which are really great. They are fun, and you really can work as hard as you want too. They are good spirited and I always look forward to them.

I also do some personal training with Pete. Pete really is passionate about helping you achieve your goals. You'll be completely addicted and wont regret training with him.

Having met Pete whilst working at the same Gym serveral years ago I was pleased to hear he had started his own kettlebell business. Having been out of the fitness game for a while I decided to give his bootcamp class a go. It was a fantastic way to get back into exercise and I found the workouts challenging as well as educational.

I really recommend Pete's bootcamp, it really helped to motivate me with exercise again and I am so impressed with the results! Over the 4 weeks I lost 2 inches off my measurements and half a stone! I love the fact that Kettlebells give you a cardio workout but is also great for core strength and losing weight! We had a brilliant group on the Bootcamp and I met some fab people.
