| 4.75 4.7 out of 5 - I managed to break the LCD screen on my 3 1/2 year old (but still well-functioning) laptop and got in touch with Bristol Computer Fix for a quote. They got back to me immediately with an estimate of the price and arranged an appointment quickly. Jon kept me informed of the process the entire time. It turned out to be a much more complicated job than originally expected as my laptop wouldn't take an LED screen, even with adaptors. Most places would probably have told me it wasn't a feasible task at this point but Jon managed to not only source an LCD screen but get a high quality second-hand one - the cost was kept low but it still looks like new (at least, it does to me!). I am very impressed with the service I received and my laptop screen looks like new. Jon went above and beyond to get the job done and keep it affordable. They even have a collect and return service for those who (like me) do not have access to a car. I highly recommend this service and will definitely be using them again if I have any hardware issues!

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - I rang up to explain the problem my laptop was facing, the gentleman who answered the call was very professional and helpful. He provided me with all possible avenues to try and solve the problem along with some key advice ( very few places do that - they just tell you to book your laptop in for repair). Unfortunately wont book my old laptop for reapirs as will cost more to fix it.
I am very impressed with the service and would highly recommend it to anyone. I am not the ones to write reviews either.

I was provided with a receipt with contact details. The repair, itself, was prompt and my laptop was treated to a much-needed clean up resulting in a much more efficient machine. I would definitely use this company again and will be sure to recommend.

This drive had a lot of information and work not long completed, as well my laptop backups and John was able to restore the data to a new hard drive - at two hours notice on a Sunday afternoon/evening - amazing service at a very good price! | 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - I called Bristol Computer Fix after seeing good reviews on this site and being impressed with their website when my desktop computer suddenly died.
I had never needed to used a company to fix anything computer related before as I have some knowledge of software, so was a little apprehensive of what the cost and experience would be!
However, from the first phone call Jon was really friendly and gave me his opinion of the possible problem over the phone (I know this wouldn't always be possible!)
The motherboard needed replacing, which I would have thought would cost more than a new computer, but the cost was really reasonable. He produced a diagnostic report, as I was using it for an out-of-warranty claim with the company I bought it from. And when the company agreed to pay out, he replaced the motherboard, and my computer is now good as new!
Jon was really good at keeping me up to date with progress and was always friendly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bristol Computer Fix and will definitely use them again if the need arises.
