Brett has done a number of carpentry jobs for us over the last few years inluding fitted wardrobes in, deep shelves in a cupboard, rearranged our fitted kitchen to our requirements and more. He is a pleasure to work with and we have always been completely satisfied by the work done.

Brett's a nice guy and I was taken in at first by his apparently reasonable manner. He may be okay at carpentry but not at anything else in my experience. He fitted a travertine floor that was extremely uneven and wasn't back butted properly (producing cracks etc.). He said this was because the original floor was uneven, though only after he fitted the floor - I would have happily paid more for him to even the floor. He fitted a toilet, which subsequently leaked. He came back once to put some bath sealant around the joint (and pick up outstanding cash) but ignored my calls when it happened a second time. He fitted a sink, but not straight. He did some wall tiling, but the grouting was very poor and powdery - the electrical sockets were not refitted safely. I could have done better. Okay if you just want a short term fix until you sell up, but problems will become apparent as time goes by - and Brett won't come back to put things right. Pay for a professional. It'll save you a lot of stress.

Brett has done loads of work in my house, from installing bookshelves and skirting to changing the doors on our fitted wardrobes and fitting a whole new kitchen. The quality of work was fantastic and he is hard working, efficient and trustworthy.
