Blantyre's Soundtec Discos is owned and operated by Barry Watt. Barry has been in the mobile disco industry for over 20 years and has been involved in Local Radio for over 5 years. Soundtec are based in Blantyre and are a well-established mobile disco covering all types of functions throughout Glasgow, Lanarkshire, throughout Scotland and beyond.
Soundtec can cater for any function be it Disco or PA Hire. So far these have included weddings, birthdays, engagements, school discos, corporate events, children's parties and charity nights as well as in-store promotions, Gala Days, Duck Races and residency work at Hampden Park, Scotland's National Stadium, Hamilton Park Racecourse, Auchen Castle and Gleddoch House Hotel. Soundtec Discos are proud to have a 100 percent reliability record.
Soundtec offer a wide variety of screen, spot, laser and fog effects to create the perfect atmosphere for the client's function. They have some of the most advanced equipment and their music can range from the 50's to the present day - chart, dance, pop, cheesy and also Scottish Ceilidh Music if required.
With P. A. T. Tested equipment and Public Liability Insurance and their DJ's are police and local authority checked. Their clients are sure of a great party with peace of mind that safety is their top priority.
Soundtec operate 1 Mobile Disco Unit so they can concentrate fully in the event at hand.

He was one of the first suppliers we booked as he had put on brilliant nights at two weddings we'd been at before. He more than lived up to expectations, putting on first class entertainment and creating a relaxed and fun-filled atmosphere. He was friendly and helpful and nothing was too much bother when we had last minute changes to plan and unusual requests such as having a friend sing our first song. He seamlessly covered for a gap between the first two dances when there was a bridal wardrobe malfunction. He also took pictures of the dancing so we have a record of the night long after the official photographer had left. We would wholeheartedly recommend Soundtec Discos.

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - Barry was the DJ at one of our charity events. He researched our charity beforehand so he had a good amount to say and checked at the beginning to see if it was all accurate. Not only did he DJ and have a great collection of music he chipped in to do other tasks during the day such as helping our volunteers and thanking the other performers. I'd highly recommend Barry for an event.

We had been let down by a previous DJ and we were slightly nervous at booking another one, but Barry put us at ease immediately, and we booked him on the spot for our wedding on 4.5.13. So glad we did! Had our dancefloor full from the first song, don't think there was a single time it was empty, all our guests loved him and the pictures he took of our dancefloor meant we could relive it the next day. Highly recommended!
