Blantyre's Soundtec Discos has been running for over 12 years and are based in Blantyre. It is a well-established mobile disco covering all types of functions all over Glasgow, Lanarkshire and throughout Scotland.
Soundtec can cater for any function be it Disco or PA Hire. So far these have included weddings, birthdays, engagements, school discos, corporate events, children's parties and charity nights as well as in-store promotions and residency work at Hampden Park, Scotland's National Stadium, Hamilton Park Racecourse, Auchen Castle and Gleddoch House Hotel. Soundtec Discos are proud to have a 100 percent reliability record.
Soundtec offer a wide variety of screen, spot, laser and fog effects to create the perfect atmosphere for your function. They have some of the most advanced equipment and their Music can range from the 50's to the present day - chart, dance, pop, cheesy and also Scottish Ceilidh Music if required.
With P. A. T. Tested equipment and Public Liability Insurance and their DJ's are Police and local authority Checked. Their clients are sure of a great party with peace of mind that safety is their top priority.
Soundtec operate 1 Mobile Disco Unit so they can concentrate fully in the event at hand.

5.0 out of 5 | Barry Watt from Blantyre's Soundtec Discos was hired to play at our wedding and we simply can't praise him enough. He was very friendly and professional before and during the wedding. I was a bit of a pest and kept changing details and songs, but was never made to feel like it was a hassle. He rang me a few weeks before the wedding to confirm all the details which was very reassuring.
On the night he was fantastic - played brilliant songs, brought along inflatable guitars and microphone (which really went down a storm with our guests), and the best of all, took pictures and had them on the website by the next morning. It was brilliant to get to see photos of the night so soon after the wedding.

The service provided is always first class, the guys are so accommodating and have so much interaction with everyone from small kids to old grannies! We had request slips on our tables for our guests and it seemed very popular. All the guests we spoke to had an exceptional evening and all the kids {and some adults} even enjoyed the blow up gimmicks which were thrown in by Barry & John. They took some Fabulous Piccies of our Evening and I've already snaffled them from the Web-site. Finished off Our Special Day with Great Tunes and Exceptional Value for Money. 4.0 out of 5 | I hired Soundtec for my 30th and had a fabulous night. I wanted certain songs played and it wasnt a problem even though some of them werent mainstream. Ive worked in pubs and function rooms and can honestly say it was one of the best ive heard. Barry read the crowd well and played the appropriate songs to get and keep the dancing going.
