With several years experience in Shiatsu bodywork, BirthDance offers holistic antenatal and maternity care including antenatal classes, belly dance as birth dance tuition, birth preparation workshops, doula service or birth support and heated birth pool hire to pregnant women and their partners throughout the local area.

The business is located in Frome and offers free delivery and collection of your birth pool within the local area.

BirthDance is owned by Fiona Willis who has been involved in Shiatsu Massage for many years. Having previously worked in the volunteer sector, Fiona Willis is experienced with working with a diverse range of people.

Enabling couples to prepare for childbirth, BirthDance provides birth preparation workshops which include acupressure, Shiatsu, yoga, Active Birth and Birthing from Within techniques.
1:2:1 antenatal classes based on yoga, Shiatsu and belly dance are also available.

Using her varied skills and experience from various disciplines, Fiona introduces and teaches many ways of preparing for birth and the workshops are an enjoyable way to learn skills and techniques for pain relief and emotional support.

Fiona Willis is skilled in various disciplines and practices such as yoga and traditional Chinese Medicine, and is currently training to become an Active Birth teacher and Birthing from Within mentor. Her qualifications include:
Diploma in Shiatsu,
Post Graduate Diploma in Shiatsu in Maternity Care,
Counselling Skills.
