BH Media - Recording Service

BH Media is a media company in York, North Yorkshire that boasts a professional recording studio that is available to all bands, solo artists and corporate bodies all over the UK.

Many high profile acts and companies have made BH Media their studio of choice, not only because of the high quality work that clients leave with, but also the relaxed atmosphere, fantastic customer service and good reputation that the studio has.

The studio is one small part of BH Media's services, as it also provides music technology training, equipment installation, CD Duplication, and many more services.

BH Media's services are:
- Recording facility for Bands / Solo Artists
- Mastering
- Audio Restoration
- Music Technology Training
- Live / Location Recording
- Voiceover / Music bed for TV / Radio / Tour Companies etc
- Installation of PC / Mac Midi Workstations / Lights / PA in schools / venues
- CD Duplication
- Copyright Legislation Advice.

All of the above services are always expanding with increased technology and experience.

If a client has any particular audio needs, BH Media will always be happy to fulfil them.

All the Producers / Sound Engineers at BH Media all have vast amounts of experience in their field, and have worked with many well known artists throughout their careers.

In house engineers are:
- Lee Hutchinson
- John Greatwood
- James Hyde
- Simon Tomlinson (Trainee).

The quality of work that these engineers produce is always beyond client's expectations, and they always get huge amounts of praise for the work they produce. Samples of their work can be found via the myspace page.

BH Media is managed by Steve Brown and Lee Hutchinson.

Steve and Lee formed a partnership to help the studios growth, and since have proved to be an extremely beneficial move for the studio, allowing more and more people to make use of its services and feel completely at home.

Anyone that has dealt with Steve or Lee will know that although they manage the business, they always know how to have a good time and are extremely approachable to anyone that has any questions for them.

Hours of Business

BH Media are open for business from 1000 to 1800 Monday to Friday and 1100 to 1900 Saturday to Sunday.

To record a 6 track ep for professional production and national distribution for the band Tidal Fury.

We have used many other Pro Studios in the past but BH Media has got to be top of the list. The skill and experience of the engineers combined with their production techniques and top end equipment has given us the best sounding recording to date. The rates are very reasonable and we would strongly recommend them to any musician/band.

Working with BH Media was an enjoyable experience. The staff there were fun and a laugh to work with and showed a general interest in our work. They were always ready to help and give ideas and advice. The studio was well equipped and comfortable to work in. Over all the quality of the work and end product was to a very high standard. Over all me and my band had a fun and very productive time, in which we end up with a grate product. Well worth cheeking out BH Media. The Silhouette Zoo. (Value for money can not be filled in because we won are recording and did not pay)

We feel that our tracks could not have been produced/mastered in a better way and were exceedingly pleased with the final outcome. The studio met to our short budget and we managed to achieve our aims with the recording. If you want to have a listen to the result, both I Do and Latecomer were recorded here (myspaceDOTcom/airheadsband)
