Beggars Belief Ceilidh Band - BandBeggars Belief Ceilidh Band are a funky, folk-rock ceilidh band based in South Yorkshire. Playing loud and lively jigs and reels for fast and furious dancing, they specialise in weddings, corporate events, festivals and parties.
They provide a full evening's entertainment on accordion, electric fiddle, guitar, bass, programmed percussion with dance caller to guide. Lighting effects and smoke are provided and add to the fun, party atmosphere. In between the dancing they sing traditional songs and covers of bands such as the Dubliners, Pogues, Proclaimers, Levellers and Waterboys.
Beggars Belief travel all over the UK, regularly playing venues such as hotels, community centres, pubs, castles, outdoor events and many more.
All equipment is fully PAT tested and they have public liability insurance. Many letters of recommendation can be viewed on their website.
