| 1.35 1.3 out of 5 - Ordered a balloon a month in advance for a very special birthday surprise. The date I wanted wasn't available, but they said they'd try.
I advised the Paypal shipping address was incorrect and gave the correct delivery address using their online form. No proper confirmation was sent, but I did receive a reply to my email, so naturally assumed all was in order (reasonable, I think!)
They never sent me my balloon, which completely ruined the planned birthday surprise and put a dampener on the entire day as we had to wait for presents until the day was almost over and it was apparent my order was never going to arrive. Instead of the surprise we had tears and upset because it was completely ruined.
Balloon Baboon claim they never received my email, which is a convenient cover-up for the fact they sent it to the wrong address. Not only does Julie refuse to refund me, but she basically called me, her customer, a liar and that it's tough luck I didn't get my order.
Worst experience ever, and when spending £16 on a balloon I expect better. I chose Julie based on a previous social networking relationship, but wish I hadn't. I've never been so upset by a small business. Terrible!
Company response : Once we heard from this customer we searched our entire email list and all messages held externally. Unfortunately we were unable to find any email containing a request for us to use an alternative delivery address.
We despatched the sculpture to the address given to us on the order submitted via paypal. The ordering process does allow for an alternative address to be submitted via paypal once the order has been reviewed. Review at the payment stage clearly shows the requested delivery address for checking.
Although the customer added a message asking about delivery dates at this review stage, no alternative address was included in the message.
After numerous threats we again checked for an email and still nothing was found. The threats continue. |

They arrive in an enormous box but obviously weigh nothing, which makes the parcel extra specially exciting and then there is a fabulous and unique gift. They also last a surprisingly long time, just subtly shrinking as they slowly deflate
My mum is also a huge advocate but she loves that can speak to someone whilst I order online

Not only was the customer service exceptional, in that I was allowed to personalise the bouquet to my liking, but also she took special care to ensure I was completely satisfied with my purchase. She even assisted me in choosing the colour scheme of the bouquet to compliment my friends' colour scheme at the event; as well as choosing an appropriate card. The bouquet was such a hit that someone who attended the charity event asked to purchase it! Great quality products, fantastic customer service, and amazing value for the money! Rating from 1 - 10...I'd give her a 12!

I think the service, the value for money and the over all fun factor of these gifts makes baloonbaboon a wonderful surprise for anyone. Certainly surprised me when I received them!!
Will use again as a gift to friends, family and even clients….

| 5.05 5.0 out of 5 - I used Balloon Baboon recently when all other present ideas had eluded me - to be fair I was getting desperate and had no idea how well the "gift" would go down. Well all I can say is WOW! It was a big hit! My girlfriends face was an absolute picture as she opened the box and 12 balloon red roses floated out. I planning on using balloon baboon again soon - my nephew is a huge doctor who fan, I'm gonna ask balloon baboon if they can create a balloon tardis. I don't think I'll be suffering from present idea stress for a while now. :-)
