B and L Engineering - CNC CompanyB and L Engineering are subcontractors with a number of VMCs and CNC lathes installed in their 6000 ft factory at Darenth Mill. All the machines are programmed by an off-line CAM system which is DNC linked to the shop floor for the transfer of part programs.
The company machines precision components and castings for a number of major customers in the pump, drainage system and crimping tool sectors and batch sizes range from around 100 to 1000 off. As well as machining all the main elements for the crimping tools (which are used in the automotive sector), B and L Engineering assemble these parts to form complete applicators. These are then delivered on a monthly basis according to the customer's production schedules.

B and L Engineering have been established since 1988. The company consists of CNC milling and turning machines in conjunction with conventional established machines such as grinders, lathes and drills. B and L Engineering provide work including the machinery of customer supplied castings to their specifications and drawings.
The approved suppliers to B and L Engineering carry out finishing processes such as anodising. B and L also provide assembled and ‘masked’ assemblies spray painted.
