I had many massages in past due to my lower back pain but this was one of the best message I ever had. The therapist was highly professionally, friendly and the knowledge was exceptional. She been through my health history, allergy test and demonstrated my problem and how the message will be carried out. First of all not many therapist do that and amazingly this time was not taken off from my massage time. This shows anima therapies is not just about money they care about your health and well being. Peaceful environment with relaxing music. I was in so much pain, feeling alot better now. Definitely going back thanks salma!!! I had booked a swedish massage and aromatherapy massage for myeself and my friend with Anima Therapies last week as it came highly recommended by my friend who is very particular. When we reached there yesterday the therapist was lovely and ever so welcoming. I have never had a full assessment by any therapist before. Salma catered for my needs. Though I had gone in for a swedish massage Salma felt it would be best for my body to have a Sports massage.... Boy was she right! By just touching parts of my body with very little pressure she knew where my aches and pains were. I felf and heard all the cracks. I was amazed at how good it felt as most therapist do not pay attention to all areas of the body. I suffer from a lot of ankle pains. I had been told in the past it's because I suffer from weak ankles? Salma asked if I wear UGG boots.... How did she know this I do not know as I was not wearing them at the time, but she knew by just feeling my ankle and told me this is why I am suffering the extra pains. I was very surprised at how she knew about certain activities I do, the kind of exercise I do. She most definitely knows what she's doing. I left feeling great and my partner even said I look lighter and that exactly how my body felt. I'm so used to my body feeling tense and for the first time in years I slept like a baby. She was very professional and I would highly recommend her to friends and family. I will be returning again and making it a regular thing. Thank you Salma :).
As a therapist and tutor, I've had a fair few massages in my time, some good, some not so.. I have to say that it was an absolute delight to have a treatment from Salma. Well, except for the bits where it was very painful! But it's all part of a professional sports massage, isn't it.. I twisted my ankle about a month ago and I'd been in a lot of pain since. What struck me was that she was very knowledgeable about her anatomy and also her techniques, knowhing when and how to deliver them. I'm feeling so much better than I was. I've had a lot of problems with my balance, but she has loosened my postural muscles up so much that my balance is very much improved, as are my legs. Looking forward to my next one now..
I waited a full week from the date I had my massage to write this review so it would be accurate. I have been suffering with upper back pain for some time now and, in particular, my neck and rotator cuffs. I did not mention this to the practitioner, she noticed it whilst doing the massage which is always a good sign.
She paid particular attention to these areas. After the session and for much of the next day my neck and shoulders were sore. I had been told to expect this as she had worked muscles that had lain dormant for some time. After the pain cleared I definitely noticed I was a lot looser. In the mornings, when I woke, I felt like an old woman full of aches and pains. Since a single session I have certainly noticed a substantial decrease in pain.
As for the practitioner herself, she is a professional delight. She has the perfect mix of staying silent and allowing you to relax during the soothing parts of the massage and talking to you to distract you during the "grit your teeth" parts of the massage.
Certainly will be going back again as I can definitely feel the difference.

I found Anima Therapies off Wowcher and I was very happy with the service I received. The Beatician was such a lovely and friendly person that I just wanted to take her home, she made me feel soo welcome and thr service was outstanding. I felt I had good value for money and would defo recommend to family and friends.
