Based in Cheddar, The Anchorage Sea School provides the full range of RYA courses to clients throughout Southern England. Formed in 1998 the company has many years experience in the running both practical and shore based RYA courses.

The ethos behind the school is to give you, the student the confidence to progress through the RYA scheme at your own speed. Therefore it has chosen it's instructors carefully, not only for their hard won experience to pass on; but because the school has seen their patient ability to enable it's clients to achieve their potential.

The School was formed by Tony Agar MRIN an RYA Ocean Instructor who has been teaching Yachting since 1996. Having previously worked for many other RYA schools, Tony has been able to synthesise best practise.
